ABOUT

I’m Kim Mclachlan the owner of Brainy Business Solutions and creator of TopFormz. I too am a small business owner and know first hand how many balls there are to juggle when starting a small business.

I am a Chartered Accountant with experience as a Director at Deloitte. I have acted as a strategic business advisor to partners and directors of both Deloitte and PKF Australia. I have also worked on international projects to develop best practice methodologies in London, South Africa and Australia. I have led business improvement/re-engineering initiatives at Deloitte and PKF Australia; which resulted in significant savings. I won an award for innovation as a result of my re-engineering/business improvement project at Deloitte in South Africa. I have also prepared face-to-face and on-line learning materials for delivery to partners and directors of these accounting and advisory firms.

I’m Gillian Nathan. I specialise in tax and small business. Kim Mclachlan and I have known each other for more than 20 years. I am a Chartered Accountant, Registered Tax Agent and an Associate Member of the Tax Institute. I have also completed my Masters in Taxation and International Taxation. In addition, I have completed my Postgraduate Certificate in Education, and I am a qualified secondary school teacher in Accounting and Economics. I have also lectured postgraduate courses and facilitated training and presented at in house training courses for employees of large listed clients. I will be directing all tax work associated with the subscription.
