In 2002, after working very successfully in the beauty industry for more than 15 years, Brazilian Butterfly founder Tanya Farrar recognised a gap and subsequent need for a professional, yet fresh, fun and progressive salon to take advantage of the specialty niche market that had been neglected by other salons – Brazilian waxing.

“I got the worst tan I’ve ever seen. I had no tan on my hands and feet so they were a different colour to my arms and legs. It was patchy and streaky and my elbows were bright orange. They charged me more then I was told it would be. I would advise to never go there I wish I didn’t.”

“If I could give zero stars I would. I am (not anymore after today) a regular customer but I had the worst experience ever with Brazilian Butterfly Berwick this evening. Disgusting customer service. Unhelpful and impatient staff. Those don’t really matter if the wax job was decent. However I received the WORST wax job ever. Large areas were missed. Got talc all over my leg (it wasn’t even a leg wax). Wax residue all over my skin. Boiling hot wax smeared all over my skin and at no point she asked if the temperature is ok. I spent another half an hour at home plucking the remaining hair because the therapist did such a half arse job. I have visited other BB stores as well but the Berwick store got to be the worst. Never felt so unwelcomed and rushed in my life!! DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY THERE!! I have contacted their National office to reflect my experience and I will take my business elsewhere.”
