In 2002, after working very successfully in the beauty industry for more than 15 years, Brazilian Butterfly founder Tanya Farrar recognised a gap and subsequent need for a professional, yet fresh, fun and progressive salon to take advantage of the specialty niche market that had been neglected by other salons – Brazilian waxing.

Tanya believes that central to the Brazilian Butterfly philosophy is a commitment to providing exceptional customer service in a welcoming, energetic and professional environment. “I haven’t been to Brazilian butterfly Epping for nearly 4 years now and i was pleased to see how much it has grown. However i must say the experience was disappointing. After leaving the salon i found multi places where the hair was not removed. I went straight back in and she quickly removed the hairs that i indicated was still there. After coming home i still found places where the hair was not removed properly from the root which i find frustrating.(which didn’t surprise me as the technique the waxer was using was strange and painful).The waxer was pulling on my skin which was extremely painful. I am surprise the consultant could not sense my discomfort. She was also dragging the wax roller along my skin which was also pulling my skin. I have my arms waxed one a month since i was 15 (i am now 25) and only once i experienced such bad service and they turned out to unqualified. It is a shame i had such a bad experience as i was considering to making Brazilian butterfly my regular salon once again.”
