Business Accountancy was established as a Certified Practising Accountant (CPA) in 1985 by Neville Halloran and Bruce Wilson. Brendan Macdermott and Dave Kang have became partners of Business Accountancy since 2013. Business Accountancy specialises in taxation and Australian business structures to protect assets and minimise tax in a legal manner Our current focus at Business Accountancy is to utilise our members’ extensive practical experience in committing to business startup for overseas clients in Australia. With our knowledge of Australian tax law, company law, and extensive practical experience in these areas, we are fully committed in our endeavours to provide the highest quality service to our clients.

This ideal is not only focused on overseas business settling in Australia, but is also focused on assisting Australian clients who plan to open businesses in South Korea, Japan and China. The focus is on property development, meat industry and education industries. The company’s largest clients are in the construction, education and meat industries. Business Accountancy hopes to establish an office in Korea in the near future, providing accountancy services for both Australian and Korean clients.

DAVE KANG

Mr Kang has extensive experience in providing taxation and accounting services to clients in exporting, meat, building and construction and various retail industries. His excellent reputation has provided Business Accountancy with the opportunity to expand to service clients throughout Australia and Korea. Dave has many qualifications including CPA Australia, Chartered Tax Advisor (CTA), Registered Tax Agent, SMSF Auditor and Commissioner for Declarations and is fully qualified and licensed to practise as a CPA Public Practitioner. dave@businessaccountancy.com.au

BRENDAN MACDERMOTT

Mr Macdermott provides extensive knowledge and experience in acting as the backbone of the firm. In his time with Business Accountancy, Mr Macdermott has developed extensive knowledge in the taxation industry. Brendan has specialised in taxation and business structures, to protect business and personal assets, and minimise tax in a legal way. His knowledge of Australian tax law and company law, and extensive practical experience in these areas, are features of the high quality service provided to our clients.

NEVILLE HALLORAN

Principal Partner of Business Accountancy
Neville was one of the founding partners of Business Accountancy in 1985. He has been dedicated to providing first class accountancy services to clients of this firm over the last 28 years. Neville has specialised in taxation and business structures, to protect business and personal assets, and minimise tax in a legal way. Neville has many qualifications including CPA Australia and Registered Company Auditor and is fully qualified and licensed to provide superannuation advice.

JOHNNY SHIN

Management / Senior Accountant
As part of the senior management team at Business Accountancy, Mr Shin personally manages the company’s largest clients. Mr Shin specialises in high rise property construction, education and meat industries, in Australia and internationally. As an accountant for Business Accountancy and Director for Large organisations, Mr Shin’s aim is to expand international relationships between Australian and Asian corporations in the property development, education and trade industries.
