PETER SHARP graduated as a Physiotherapist from Cumberland College of Health Sciences, the University of Sydney in 1993. He completed his Masters in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy at the University of Sydney in 2000. He has worked in a number of hospitals and private practices in the past 17 years, and has owned St Leonards Physiotherapy since 2007. He is passionate about chronic back pain, and helping people to break out of the vicious cycle of pain ands disability.

SALLY HODGE is a Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist with more than 20 years experience. She has many years of experience in private practice, and has previously owned a practice in Willoughby. Her area of interest is sporting injuries.

MICHAEL BUTTERS graduated from Sydney University with a Masters of Physiotherapy after previously completing a Masters of Occupational Health and Safety and Bachelor of Exercise Science at the the University of Wollongong.  Michael has lectured and tutored in fields of exercise physiology and anatomy for over 10 years at the University of Wollongong, University of Western Sydney and most recently with Australian Catholic University.  Michael has also worked extensively as a personal trainer and an exercise physiologist in Australia and London.

Michael is a firm believer in the importance of appropriate and regular exercise programming to manage both chronic and acute injuries combined with specific manual therapy techniques to achieve the best possible outcomes for his patients. Michael uses a systematic approach to discover the cause of the problem and not just treat your painful area.  He has a special interest in treating patients with sporting injuries, neck and lower back pain, ergonomic assessments and chronic fatigue syndrome.

Outside of work Michael can be found running around on a squash court, mountain bike riding, training or scuba diving.

JAN REDMAN has many years of experience providing paediatric services in the public hospital system to children of all age groups, from neonates to adolescents up to 16 years. She also works as the Clinical Senior Paediatric Physiotherapist for the Northern Sydney Area Health Service (Mona Vale and Manly, NSW).  In this role, Jan provides inpatient and outpatient physiotherapy services at Mona Vale and Manly Hospitals in Special Care Nurseries and the Children’s Ward. Jan has a special interest in children with Connective Tissue Disorders and Developmental Hip Dysplasia. Jan provides clinical education services for nurses, midwives, allied health and medical professionals. Jan is the current National Paediatric Group Representative on the National Advisory Council. Jan is a member of the NSW Paediatric Physiotherapy Neonatal Group and is an accredited assessor of the General Movements Assessment for premature babies and neonates. Jan Redman now also offers paediatric acquatic therapy.

What is NDIS?

REQUEL TREVILLION is a very experienced physiotherapist, specialising in treating adults and adolescent s with musculoskeletal and sporting injuries. She has been working for the past 14 years at Physiocise (a private physiotherapy practice teaching education and movement classes). At Physiocise, Requel developed a program called Physiocise for Kids, which is an education and exercise program for teachers, parents and children. Physiocise for Kids was specifically developed to cater for the postural needs of children between the ages of 5 and 18. Requel has a special interest in adolescent kids with postural and hypermobility problems. She is running small group exercise classes at the practice to cater for children between the ages of 5 and 14.

CHRIS ANDREANO’S lifelong appetite for sport and exercise led him into a Bachelor of Science at the University of Wollongong, majoring in Exercise Science and Rehabilitation. Chris then worked for a number of years as an Exercise Physiologist in the private rehabilitation sector, before graduating at the end of 2014 with a Masters of Physiotherapy from the University of Sydney. He has also worked as a physiotherapist in the public hospital sector in a wide range of medical areas, including orthopaedics, neurological, surgical and outpatients.
Chris is involved in multiple sporting pursuits. As a clinician, he strives to correct and optimise functional movement patterns. Chris combines close biomechanical analysis, manual therapy and progressive exercise rehabilitation. This allows him to effectively treat and prevent sporting injuries, manage persistent pain conditions and maximise performance. Chris is also driven to transition the rehabilitation process from the clinic to the gym setting, where he can facilitate higher levels of physical conditioning and assist patients to manage musculoskeletal issues long term.
