CO2 FRACTIONAL LASER SKIN RESURFACING

Major advances in technology have created what promises to be the gold standard in the restoration of sun damaged and aging skin with the CO2 Fractional Laser, recently introduced at chebo clinic. The amount of healing time associated with resurfacing is directly proportionate to the intensity of laser settings for each individual treatment. Following laser resurfacing there will be varying degrees of swelling, redness and peeling which may last 3-7 days. More aggressive treatments produce more dramatic results but may extend the healing time slightly. These issues will be determined in advance of resurfacing, based on the wishes of the individual being treated. It is possible that one may choose to have one aggressive treatment or two or more lighter procedures to achieve the desired results.
