WHAT ARE EYELASH EXTENSIONS? Eyelash extensions are a cosmetic process whereby synthetic lashes applied directly to the natural lash with a semi-permanent bonding adhesive to create a fuller, longer look aiming for an authentic, natural feel.

HOW ARE THEY APPLIED AND HOW LONG DOES THE APPLICATION TAKE? A single synthetic lash is glued to a single natural lash, approximately I mm from the eyelid so neither the glue or the lash has contact with the skin. The procedure normally takes I – 2 hours depending on how many lashes are applied. It is a meticulous procedure that requires patience and concentration so therefore it should not be rushed so that clients can leave with a perfect set of lashes. You relax with your eyes closed and there is no pain as this is a non-invasive procedure.

DO EYELASH EXTENSIONS DAMAGE MY NATURAL LASHES? Not at all, as long as they are applied correctly. Inexperienced technicians or those who rush are apt to apply lashes that are too heavy/clumped together which can definitely result In damaged lashes. We customize the lashes so they are the right weight and thickness, and apply them carefully, one by one, so that yoon natural lashes remain as healthy as ever!
