Signature Treatment “Sacred Space

Sacred Space takes your healing experience to a whole new level by combining massage, vibrational essences and energy healing all into one package. An intuitive card reading to give you insight is followed by a combination of Massage and Energy Healing which may include the use of Crystals, Reiki and Sound. The techniques of massage match your bodies needs at the time and can be heavy or strong, soft and flowing. Deep peace, healing, relaxation and change is what you will experience with this treatment.

Reiki

Reiki is the channelling of Universal life force energy through the hands and into the body. This energy has its own life force and intuitively moves to where it is needed for healing, treating the whole body, not specific conditions. Shifts can be made on all levels emotional, physical and spiritual. Numerous people report feeling relaxed, free, clear and nurtured following a Reiki treatment, and it does not require you to “believe” in anything for it to work.

Hawaiian Kahuna (Lomi Lomi )Massage

Continuous flowing rhythmic movements using forearms and hands are used with the incorporation of underbodywork, giving you the feeling there is more than one person working on you at one time. Balance is restored to the body allowing stress, anxiety and pain to be let go, stored emotions to be released. Clients often describe this massage as feeling as though waves are washing over them, like swimming with dolphins

Remedial Massage

Treating both the symptoms and the cause the massage can be gentle or strong, deep of shallow, and passive streching moves are often used at the end of the treatment. Particularly good for muscular and skeletal disfunctions including whiplash, sports injuries, acute pain, tension headaches and migraines, back shoulder and neck pain.

Hot Stone Therapy

The use of heat to relax aches while soothing the nervous system can be traced back thousands of years through many different cultures. The deep penetrating heat of the stones combined with a variety of massage techniques and pressure allows tension, stress, muscular aches and pains to dissolve from the body with minimal effort.

Pregnancy Massage

Using a specifically designed pregnancy mat so you are able to lie on your stomach in complete comfort in the second and third trimester of your pregnancy, this massage is tailored to suit your individual needs. Using a variety of massage techniques from remedial to relaxation, your body is able to relax and release stored tension resulting from your changing body during this amazing time. Extremely beneficial in reducing peripheral swelling, muscle cramps, back neck and shoulder pain.

Deep Tissue Massage

As the name implies this massage focuses on the deeper layers of the muscles, joints and fascia of the body, using deep compression and friction movements to loosen and release deeply held tension points and built up toxins. The massage focuses on specific areas to restore muscles back to their original length and may cause a small amount of soreness during and after the session. It is very beneficial for relieving muscular tension and spasms, recovery from injuries (ie whiplash, falls, sporting injuiries), postural problems and to increase flexibility.

Foot Reflexology

Reflexology was developed in the east over 5000 years ago and works on the principle that there are reflex points in the hands and feet that correspond to all parts of the body including organs and glands. By stimulating these reflex points using a specific thumb and finger technique, physiological changes take place in the body as our own healing potential is stimulated. Rebalanced energy is directed to various parts of the body and organs, clearing blockages and restoring balance. Reflexology is relaxing, non-invsive and has wonderful benefits for health all round.
