Vivian has had a long passion for creating the perfect brows. The eyes are the central feature of our face. Therefore, sculpted brows are tailored to frame your eyes. With an eye for detail she will create natural eyebrows with crisp hair strokes using the micro-stroking technique that will blend in beautifully with your eyebrows. Her artistic skills consist of symmetry, perfection and technical ability resulting in beautiful and realistic cosmetic artistry.

Vivian’s love for making clients feel good along with a great attention to detail ensures that every client walks away with the very best enhancements. Eyebrow Tattoos

Feather touch brow tattoo is an ideal service for those with fine, sparse or light eyebrows who crave a more defined shape. This can last up to two years. This micro-pigmenting technique uses a metal hand tool with fine needles to create fine hair-like strokes to transform sparse brows into perfectly symmetrical arches that elegantly frame the face.

Eyebrow Powder fill tattoo

The powder eyebrow tattooing gives a similar effect created with an eyebrow powder, infusing colour to create the perfect brow shape giving a soft definition beneath the natural hair growth. Very flattering and gorgeous with clients that already have some degree of existing brow hair.

The procedure

After the initial consultation you will have numbing cream applied for approximately 20 min. Using specialist medical grade facial tattooing needles the pigment is applied to the eyebrow area.
Anaesthetic is continually applied to decrease any pain or discomfort during the procedure.

The procedure usually takes 2 hours but it varies from person to person depending on your individual requirements. After the treatment your eyebrows might feel a little sensitive.

Please note that needles are once off and are always disposed of after each client. Depending on the depth of colour requested, most people are comfortable in public within 2-5 days. Microblading requires no downtime after the procedure.

Retouches
A second complimentary appointment is needed 6-8 weeks after after initial procedure. This is usually a slightly quicker appointment to add more pigment to the eyebrow area. Some parts may not ‘hold’ as well as others. This is completely normal as everyone heals differently.

Colour refresh
Priced at $450 and recommended every 12-18 months to keep the brows looking defined.

Eyeliner tattoo
Eyeliner can enhance the shape, colour and size of your eyes. As a qualified cosmetic tattooist we can precisely apply eyeliner in your choice of thickness and style, that is waterproof, smudge-resistant and long-lasting.

Fine eyeliner is through the lashes and creates a fine line above the lashes. It extends beyond the eyelashes to create a precision fine line which might have a flick at the end or be straight into the lash line.

Before we begin the procedure, we work together to shape your eyes with a pencil, allowing you to agree on the best color and shape to fit your eyes. To keep discomfort to a minimum, anesthetic creams are used before and during the procedure. The entire process takes 1.5 hours and you may experience swelling and redness for 2 days. A complimentary touch up is required 6-8 weeks after the initial procedure for optimal results.

Before and After Procedure Care

Before care

Do not work out the day of the procedure.

Do not tan or have sunburned face.

Refrain from use of alcohol, Aspirin, Niacin, Vitamin E, Fish Oil or Ibuprofen or other blood thinning medications 48 hours before procedure. No medications should ever be discontinued without consulting your Doctor.

No waxing or tinting 3 days before the procedure.

No tweezing/ waxing at least 48 hours before procedure; electrolysis no less than five days before. Do not resume any method of hair removal for at least two weeks.

Eyelash or eyebrow tinting or eyelash curling should be done no sooner than 48 hours before, or two weeks after the procedure.

Do not wear contact lenses during or immediately following the eyeliner procedure. Remember to bring your glasses. You may resume wearing your contact lenses as soon as your eyes return to their pre-tattooed condition.

A skin test patch is offered upon request. However, an allergic reaction to pigments/dyes can occur immediately after or manifest years later whether or not skin test patch is performed. Allergic Reactions are extremely rare.

Home care instructions
It is quite normal to feel slight tenderness and dryness in the area. You will need to purchase a small tube of Bepanthen Cream from a chemist. This is an antiseptic cream to protect against infection. The cream also soothes and assists the natural healing process of the skin.

DO NOT USE OTHER CREAMS OR LOTIONS, INCLUDING BEPANTHEN OINTMENT on the treated area for 5 days as the colour may change. Immediately after the procedure, be prepared for the colour intensity of your procedure to be significantly sharper, brighter or darker then what is expected for the final outcome. It will take time for this transition depending upon how quickly the outer layer of your skin exfoliates (usually between 3 to 14 days).

For all procedures DO NOT use soap or cleansers on the tattoo area in the first day. The eyebrow and surrounding area should be kept dry for 5-7 days. When showering please take extra care to ensure they are kept as dry as possible as this will help the pigment settle into the skin for longer lasting results. Clean tattoo area with warm (cold for an eyeliner treatment) running water and cotton wool, pat dry and apply a smear of Bepanthen cream with a cotton tip in a gentle dabbing motion.

During the days following the procedure, the tattoo area MUST be kept moist for successful healing. Apply Bepanthen cream to the tattoo area every 3-4 hours for the first 4 days. After this, whenever the skin feels dry. Only a thin smear of cream is necessary. DO NOT apply an excessive amount of cream.

Pigments will appear brighter in the days immediately following the procedure. This is due to scabbing forming on the tattoo area. It is EXTREMELY IMPORTANT that you DO NOT pick at, or remove this scabbing. Allow the scabbing to fall off naturally. This will occur in the following 3-10 days leaving a more natural pigment.

DO NOT touch the tattoo area with your fingers as this may cause infection.

DO NOT apply moisturiser creams that contain ALPHA HYDROXY ACIDS (AHA) to the tattoo area.

DO NOT apply make-up to the tattoo area during the first 7 days. (Not that you should need to!!)
Eyebrow Procedures Swelling and tenderness may occur after the procedure. This may be relieved by applying cold compression to the area for no more than 10 minutes.

It is normal for the tattoo area on the eyebrows to weep a clear fluid. It is important to remove this fluid in the following 24 hours by firmly wiping with a moist cotton tip.

Eyeliner procedures Rest the eyes in the hours following the procedure. If swelling occurs, apply a light ice-pack for no more than 10 minutes to alleviate soreness. It is NOT NECESSARY to apply Bepanthen cream to the eye line tattoo area, however you may apply the cream (being careful not to get the cream in your eyes) to aid in soothing.

Gently wash the eye line tattoo area with COLD WATER ONLY.

DO NOT apply mascara or eye shadow in the first 7 days.

Ongoing care

Exposure to the sun over time can cause fading and/or colour change. It is very important to use sunscreen and glasses when outdoors.

Chemicals will cause bleaching of your cosmetic tattoo. Cover the tattoo area with Vaseline when swimming in salt or chlorinated water to avoid bleaching. Glycolic acid or peels must never be applied to your cosmetic tattoo. Some vitamin A & C moisturisers and face scrubs will also lighten your tattoo. Always read product labels and if unsure contact the clinic with the ingredients list.

A review appointment following your procedure is essential. Please make sure this is made within 6 weeks.
Some long term fading will occur with your tattoos, especially to the eyebrows and lips. It is strongly recommended that your tattoos are retouched on an annual basis.

Practice Policy

A holding deposit of $50 is required to secure your booking. This deposit is fully refundable in the event you change your mind up to 36 hours before your appointment date. We understand that unforeseen circumstances sometimes arise, and we will try to accommodate any reasonable requests. However, we do require a minimum of 24 hours’ notice for any appointment cancellation or change. If required notice is not given the appointment fee will be retained.
