Beginning as a niche women’s shirting business in 1974, Country Road has evolved into Australia’s first lifestyle brand for women, men, children and home; renowned for stylish, high-quality apparel, accessories and homeware.

In 1998, Woolworth Holdings Ltd South Africa secured a controlling interest in Country Road and in 2004 Country Road was relaunched with a fresh modern identity. The positive response successfully shifted the brand direction towards a younger audience while identifying a gap in the market which led to the launch of Trenery in 2009.

Since 2004, our store network in Australasia and South Africa has expanded rapidly to include 71 retail stores, 7 clearance stores and 93 concession stores in Australia’s leading department stores David Jones and Myer and Woolworths South Africa.

Pick Up In Store
This service enables you to shop online and collect your purchase in store avoiding delivery charges. We aim to have online orders available for collection in store within four business hours. You will receive a confirmation email when your order is ready for collection.

During the checkout process you may elect to collect the items in your shopping bag from a retail store of your choice in Australia or New Zealand. Your order will be processed and prepared for collection at your nominated store. If this store is not able to fulfil your order we will contact you to make alternative arrangements.

*Please note this service is not available during sale events and is only available from our Australian and New Zealand sites.

Delivery

Enjoy free delivery for all orders over $100.

For all orders under $100 a flat rate of $10 delivery fee will be charged for orders from Australia and New Zealand and a $15 delivery fee for international orders.

Delivery times are 3-5 business days from the time of order. A dispatch confirmation email displaying your track and trace number will be sent once the order is ready to be collected.

All deliveries are made by registered courier and will require a signature, unless you provide authority to leave during checkout.

Cardholders with VIP Loyalty Status will receive FREE DELIVERY for all online orders (excluding Outlet and International orders).

*Please note that during our sale/promotional events, delivery may be longer than the specified delivery times above.

TRACKING YOUR ORDER
When your online purchase is complete you will receive an email containing your order confirmation and delivery details. We will also provide you with a link that will allow you to track and trace the status of your delivery at any time.

LOST OR DAMAGED GOODS
If your order is lost or damaged in transit, please Contact Us within 7 working days of placing your order so that we may assist you.

INTERNATIONAL DELIVERY
International delivery costs do not include any taxes or duties which may be applied by customs at the destination country and any duties or taxes incurred are the responsibility of the delivery recipient.

Please note that in accordance with Australian export regulations we are required to declare the exact value of all items and identify the order as dutiable “merchandise”. We are also prohibited by law from identifying an order as a “gift” for export purposes, even if a customer has placed the order with the intention of delivery to a gift recipient.

How do I make a Refund Request?
To submit a Refund Request, submit a claim within 14 days of returning the item and attach required documentation, available at www.paypal-returns.com/hc/en-au/requests/new.

If any document is missing, you’ll need to submit it within 7 days of your initial submission.

The completed online claim form submitted via www.paypal-returns.com/hc/en-au/requests/new;
The confirmation email for your PayPal transaction or a screenshot of your PayPal account showing that the entire price was paid using your PayPal account and displaying the PayPal transaction ID; and
A copy of your return shipment receipt that shows the amount you paid.If you use a service that tracks shipment, the receipt should also show the seller’s address;
If you use regular post (with no shipment tracking), we also need a photo of the package showing the seller’s address.
If the return costs were deducted from the refund of your item, we also need a copy of the refund email from the seller or PayPal, showing the amount refunded to you.
Documents must be clearly legible and emailed to paypalaureturns@telusinternational.com. Please keep the original documents as you may be asked to provide new copies if the copies are not sufficiently legible.

How will I be refunded?
If your Refund Request is accepted, you will receive a refund directly to your PayPal account.

Returns

Unwashed, unworn and unused items in their original condition may be returned upon presentation of the original invoice within 14 days of order receipt.

Returns or exchanges of online purchases may be made in person or by post. Purchases made using Afterpay can be returned to PO Box 4140, Hoppers Crossing, VIC 3029 for a refund only. In store, any item purchased using Afterpay as tender may only be exchanged for product or a gift card to equal or lesser value.

Refunds will be processed using the original tender type. EFTPOS/Credit Card refunds must be processed against the original card details (the exact card used to make the original purchase).

We will accept returns of bathers, under these conditions, as long as they are unworn. Bathers must be tried on wearing full briefs and returns will only be accepted in instances where the hygiene stickers and all tags are intact. All bathers will be assessed prior to any returns being processed.

For health reasons, there are no returns or exchanges on the purchase of underwear or earrings unless exhibiting a genuine manufacturing fault.

Country Road items purchased in a Myer or David Jones store are subject to their returns policies and procedures.

Sale items are subject to the same returns policy.

If you have requested a refund for your online order, we will notify you via email once your refund has been processed.

If you would like to exchange an item, please inform us of the style, size and colour that you would prefer. The item from the original order will first be returned and a new order containing the exchanged item will be processed. Any discounts received will be carried over in an exchange. We will notify you via email once your exchange has been processed.

As Country Road is not liable for the loss of an item being returned we recommend that you return it using registered mail.

If you are returning or exchanging a faulty, damaged or incorrect item we will pay for the packaging and postage costs. However, we are unable to offer free delivery for ‘change of mind’ returns or exchanges.

IN PERSON
Present your online invoice at any Country Road retail store within 14 days of order receipt.

The method of payment used to make your purchase must be presented.

Orders made via Paypal may be refunded to the credit or EFTPOS card of your choice: please note that the cardholder name must be identical on both the original invoice and a form of photo identification must be presented.

If any of the above cannot be provided, a gift card will be issued.

We cannot accept the return or exchange of Country Road purchases in Trenery, Country Road Clearance, Myer or David Jones stores.
