Cuff Building & Plumbing is the new trading name for the company Mullum Park Estate Nominees and encompasses both Cuff Building and Cuff Plumbing which were previously trading as Graeme Cuff Building & Plumbing.

While Cuff Building and Plumbing is a relatively new trading name, our foundations are firmly entrenched in history and our people have significant experience in the building and plumbing industries.

The name Cuff has been synonymous with plumbing in Melbourne and surrounds for nearly 100 years.

The plumbing side of the company began in Ringwood back in 1983 as Graeme Cuff Plumbing, as the name suggests it was owned and operated by Graeme Cuff who started as a sole trader after finishing his apprenticeship.

Interestingly Graeme did his apprenticeship with his father Don, who at the time ran his own plumbing business M.J & D.P Cuff from the family home in Mont Albert.

Four generations of plumbing knowledge and experience…

It began with George Cuff, who started a plumbing business in Kooweerup in 1919, after the First World War.

His son Gordon was his apprentice who continued the running of the business.

Likewise, Gordon’s son Don, Graeme’s dad, was an apprentice for his father and he too continued on the plumbing business.

In 1992 after further studies Graeme obtained his Builders licence and branched out into the building and construction market later changing the trading name to Graeme Cuff Building and Plumbing.

Graeme had a passion for building and, through his plumbing work, saw the need clients had for a quality builder they could trust.

Graeme was Don’s apprentice who then began Graeme Cuff Plumbing in 1983 later employing Don who still works in the business today trading as Cuff Plumbing.

A vision to provide the complete building package was the catalyst for further study that was rewarded with an unlimited builders licence in 1992.

As a certified bathroom designer we began with simple bathroom, kitchen or laundry upgrades that soon saw us grow to provide the complete renovation, alteration and extension service.

Renovations and extensions are a big commitment that requires plenty of trust.

Our team of experienced, enthusiastic, polite and courteous trade’s people will remove all the stress and hassle involved in the process.
