John Cugley is the proprietor of Cugley Plumbing and has been in the plumbing industry since 1983. John completed his apprenticeship at Royal Perth Hospital in the Engineering Department. John has spent 2 years doing plumbing maintenance at one of WA’s largest and remote Aboriginal communities and worked for over ten years in the eastern suburbs and the hills. He has done maintenance and servicing on domestic, commercial and industrial plumbing and gas.  John has experience in pumps for water and sewerage and can fix roof leaks, replace guttering and can do most general building maintenance. John has spent time caretaking remote homesteads on Kimberley Cattle Stations, so is adapt at fixing most problems.

John has also worked as an Outdoor Ed Teacher, Supermarket Manager and as a Coordinator with Kimberley Toad Busters. John believes in a strong focus on the customer and their needs and requirements and will always leave your place in the same condition as found using drop sheets to protect your floor coverings. For your peace of mind John has a Working with Childrens Card and a National Police Clearance.

Cugleys Plumbing are members of the Master Plumbers Association. We carry 10 million dollars liability insurance in the small chance that you will require it.  We remove our rubbish, fill in our holes and make good and tidy up, so you will almost never know that we have been. We have an outstanding record on safety.

In his spare time John and his partner Kym can be found exploring and documenting the cave systems of the Kimberley, rogaining, and spending time with their lovely cattle dog Ruby.

Leaking Taps and Pipes

We can help you save water by fixing your leaking taps. We also fixed burst and damaged water pipes. We also repair leaking cisterns, replace reticulation valves. We can also service your pressure pump system.

Plumbing Renovations

Hot Water Problems

We supply and install new hot water systems to replace your old unit. . We can also investigate lack of hot water and rectify the problem. Like always we remove the old units from site and dispose of them.

Blocked Drains

Drains only block when there is a problem with drainage system. We use the latest equipment to clear your blocked drains. Whether it be a septic system or deep sewerage. We can assist with identifying the problem so we can rectify and eliminate the problem. We also can receive on site copies of the sewerage plans for you deep sewered property (cost is $20)

Roof Leaks

Tired of rain water coming into your patio? We can fix it. In fact we can repair most roof leaks, in any type of roofing material. We can also repair the damage to your ceiling caused by roof leaks.

Bayonet Points

Gutters and Downpipes

We replace damaged and worn out gutters and downpipes. We install additional downpipes to assist with overflowing gutters. We can put in stormwater drainage systems. Let us install a rain water tank for you, we can also install a pump from the tank and then install a rain water tap in your kitchen. We can also clean your gutters,down pipes and roof valleys before the start of winter.

Appliance Installation

We recommend servicing gas appliances every two years. Servicing can help reduce safety risks and running costs by ensuring your gas appliance is operating efficiently.

Rates 

We use a flat rate for all our jobs. We will attend the job and give you an up front price before we start any work.

We will charge a $55 (inc GST) diagnostic fee, if no work is done.

Payment

We accept cash, cheques and EFT. You will be invoice at the completion of the job and we require  payment then.
