“Steer clear. Talked me out of what I requested and gave me a trim. Cut off all my layers and didn’t soften the ends so it looks very blunt. Never asked if it was ok or gave me a mirror to see it at the end. You get what you pay for. Go pay more at a proper salon.”

“Poor customer service. Hairdresser was done with my hair and started walking to the counter to receive payment. I said “I would like to see the back of my head”. I thought this would be a normal request. This is where it got weird. She starts going off about this is how it’s supposed to look. Hairdresser: it’s straight. Thats how you wanted it! Me: I just want a mirror to check it. Hairdresser: that’s how it’s meant to look, I did it right. (she gets louder as she repeats this a couple of times. she hands me a small mirror to check my hair) Yeah, back of hair looks good, no problem here. Second hairdresser walks out and sees hairdresser 1 being loud and joins in. Hairdresser 2: nice hair! It’s perfect! That’s what happens when you have thick hair! (I do not have thick hair) I stand there quietly as these hairdressers rile eachother up. It was bizarre watching these two be so combative when I was ok with my haircut. Maybe they had a stressful day? I don’t know. Don’t think I’ll come back though. After I got home and thought about it, I realised, they were unnecessarily rude to me.”

“Cut and Color, a fairly busy hair dresser within Brimbank Shopping Center. Given their massive poster advertisement that lead me to walk in, I was waiting a fair bit just to have a question answered. It was a Saturday early afternoon and I wanted to know how much it would cost if I was to wash and cut my hair. There were 2 people already waiting and about 4 people in the chairs having a haircut or hair styled. An attractive sales board with attractive prices, I can see why they are busy. The hair dresser only gave me a price of $22.00 without looking at my hair as she was so busy. No offense taken but she just didnt have time to look up. So I thought to come back another time. Since I do my shopping at Brimbank Shopping Center I walk pass Cut and Color all the time and I must say I may never have the opportunity to even try their service because they are extremely busy. I will make some time to wait for a cut and hope nothing goes wrong. Given how busy they are I just hope they dont rush with the job because they are under the pump. Can only hope for the best.”
