Did you know that if the bed and the room have not been cleaned between EACH client you are at a risk of getting a range of infections and diseases including a Staph infection? We recognise this and therefore go above and beyond required hygiene practices by using hospital grade disinfectants and detergents, single use bed sheets and hospital standard latex gloves (when required) all to ensure a safe environment for both our Customers and our Therapists.

Facials

Environ – A Beautiful Skin for a Lifetime

The Environ® Ionzyme® DF machine is a patent pending machine which provides facial treatments that are at the forefront of scientific skin care. The machine introduces the use of active Sonophoresis and intensified Iontophoresis treatments, and is therefore possibly the most advanced penetrant-enhancing machine available in the world today.

Specific Environ® products used in these treatments contain the optimum strengths of vitamin A and C plus additional growth factors. This creative system enhances the penetration of these products through the skin providing better penetration of the active vitamins and essential factors into the skin. This technique is crucial because skin has a natural, waterproof barrier that hinders the penetrations of vitamins. The Ionzyme® DF machine manages to overcome this resistance with two tried and tested methods:

Iontophoresis – involves the use of an electrical current to facilitate greater penetration of vitamins into the skin. With conventional iontophoresis, changes are very much slower, whereas with the Ionzyme® DF machine, the client will notice that the skin looks and feels younger within two or three treatments.

Sonophoresis – involves the use of sound waves to transport vitamin molecules through the skin. The sound used is the same as the sound made by dolphins, which produces better penetration through the skin than conventional ultrasound.

We are currently renovating and upgrading to the latest Ionzyme technology, and Environ are cooking us up a whole new batch of delicious facial treatment options to go with it. Watch this space!

Spray Tan

It’s back! Glowing, natural tan, without the sun

Tuscan Tan utilises the latest spray technology combined with tanning solution made from the finest ingredients to deliver the most authentic looking spray on tan. It adapts to any skin type, dries instantly, won’t streak, is able to be rinsed in 90 minutes, and lasts up to ten days before gradually and evenly fading.

Tuscan Tan also offers a full range of take home skin care products formulated specially for Tuscan Tan spray on tan to correctly prepare your skin prior to the tanning application, and to maintain your tan afterwards. Heavenly scented with a blend of coconut, caramel and vanilla, these divine products consist of an Exfoliating Sugar Scrub, a pH Balanced Skin Wash and a Tinted Tan Extender Lotion.

Tuscan Tan have also released a range of at-home tanning products including Wash Off Bronzing Mousse, 2-in-1 Gradual Tanning Mousse and Full Self Tanning Mousse as well as specialised  application and removal mitts for all of your tanning needs.

Does your piercer have a High Risk Personal Appearance Service Licence, an Infection Control Certificate and an Autoclave? You may tick yes to all 3 boxes if you come to any of our piercers at Deborah’s. Our studio is a licensed Skin Penetration Premises, with an up to date, serviced autoclave and all our piercers have the HLTIN402B (or higher) Maintain Infection Control Qualification. With the use of sterile field dressing packs, hospital grade disinfectants, detergents and soaps along with excellent hygiene practices you can rest assured that your piercing is being done cleanly and safely by an industry professional. All our Tools and Jewellery have been autoclaved and stored in strong durable containers so as to not compromise the integrity of the autoclave packaging and are not opened until you are present in the room for your own peace of mind.

At Deborah’s, our preferred metal to pierce with is Medical Grade Titanium. This is because of its superior quality and biocompatibility when compared to other metals. We will only use Titanium with any body piercing of a child under 18.

Quality cuticle oil for hydration, especially important for Shellac wearers and problem cuticles. A range of quality polishes, base and top coats for picture perfect nails at home. For those unfortunate fungal infections we carry a professional quality Fungicide treatment from SupaNail. Far cheaper and faster acting than pharmacy products, daily use will bring your nails back to health.
