“You should make an appointment for a piercing, but if they have free slots they can take walk ins. Better to phone ahead if you are after a specific time or day. They have certification, the piercing studio in the shop is clean and sterile, the staff wear gloves and sterile everything in front of you. They discuss with you what you want and where you want it, and answer all questions, even my dumb ones! They give you information on follow up care and direct you to a place within walking distance to buy antiseptic. I’ve had two piercings done by them and will shortly get a third. ”
