The Diplomat Hairdressers at Mt Gravatt was established in 1992. Originally we were a men’s salon but in 2006 we relocated in the centre and now offer all services in ladies and men’s hairdressing.

We can be found on the front of Mt Gravatt Plaza next to the Bank of Qld.

The diplomat Mt Gravatt prides itself on providing the best service to our clients by having fully qualified men’s and ladies hairdressers.

The salon is split up to a fully private men’s section and a fully private ladies section.

We offer all hairdressing services for the whole family from baby’s very first haircut, the traditional men’s short back and sides of our older clients to the up there styles for the 15-45year olds.

The Ladies side is still building and our staff of qualified hairdressers are up there with all the ladies styles.

The Diplomat caters for all ages.  Our staff at Mt Gravatt have great skills and knowledge of hair and are happy to sit and listen to what our clients needs are.

“Took my sons to get a haircut at Diplomat Capalaba. Worst haircuts that resulted in two boys walking out crying. Called to complain to be told that the Manager was not there so I said I would call back Monday when she was expected to return. Called Monday to be put through to two different so called hairdressers saying at first they were the managers. The first one was the one who did the haircuts and then put me on to someone else and then due to me asking to speak to the manager of the store I was told she was away for a week. I will tell everyone what the service is like and that they are liars.”
