Biography

Eklectic Fringe is a vintage inspired salon in Rosetta Street, West Croydon. Salon owner, Wendy, has created a warm and inviting atmosphere which encompasses the glamour of a by-gone era. Her love for beauty; beautiful things, beautiful women, and beautiful hair, inspires all aspects of her work.

She has an appreciation of vintage glamour and style icons and has perfected the art of vintage hair styling.

Wendy has worked as a hair stylist for sixteen years.

She has worked at varies salons around Adelaide and managed an exclusive health spa and salon on a luxury cruise liners for six years.

Although Wendy’s passion lies in vintage fashion, her extensive knowledge of hair styling and hair styling products is wide and varied.

She is technically trained in colour consultation and application of highlights, tints and semi-permanent colours.

Her creativity and technical abilities provide the perfect mix between classical training and modernised flair.

After trying hair colours and dyes from all over the world, Wendy found that Sebastian and Wella products stood out from the rest. In particular, Sebastian Cellophanes are a vegetable hair dye which will not only improve the quality of your hair, but give it shine you didn’t think possible.

Eklectic Fringe is one of the few places this exclusive range is available in South Australia. Using them can mean the difference between having average hair, and exceptional hair.

Wendy is available for weddings and special events. Whatever the occasion, Wendy can provide her expertise with a personal touch.
