What is Threading?

Threading is an ancient technique of hair removal using a cotton thread. The Thread is twisted & rolled along the surface of the skin entwining the hair in the thread which is then lifted from the follicle.

Benefits of Threading

Completely natural way of hair removal as no chemicals or waxes are used. Unlike other methods or the use of depilatories, irritation & skin rashes are avoided with threading, as the top layer of the dead skin is not stripped off in the process.

The Threading process is safe for those who have sensitive skin or for those on acne medication such as Retin-A, Acutane, etc.

With Threading, Eyebrows look more defined, as the process takes out the smallest hair from its follicle around the shape of the eyebrow.
Hair removal by Threading can last up to 3-4 weeks & new hair grows thinner & finer.

“Came to Stocklands Burleigh just to get my brows threaded and tinted, when i walked upto the counter the lady just looked at me with a blank face so i said Hello and got a very short Hi from her then i continued to ask how much it would cost and she said $30. I think she was a robot who cant talk or smile so i wont trust her with my brows and i wont be going back there. Very rude. I’ll find somewhere else.”

“Not happy at all. Went and got my eyebrows done, the lady doing them was in such a hurry I now have one eyebrow extremely smaller then the other one and completely different arches. My eyebrows have never been this thin.
They need to slow down and keep checking to make sure it is the same as the other side.

“I got eyelashes extensions at the store in runaway bay, I was assured they were the highest quality mink- they most definitely are not! They look fake, they feel fake, I’d swear they were plastic or something. And I’ve had several fall out not even 24hrs later.
