THE ELYSIUM STORY

Established by Jennifer Tagget and Lisa Zukerman more than 11 years ago, the vision for elysium was to create a beautiful blend between spa and clinic, offering their clients relaxation and results in a friendly, warm environment.

Their passion for quality, sincerity and knowledge shines through to all aspects of the business, from training, skincare, treatments and customer service. With two young children each, Jen and Lisa are continually juggling the roles of mother and business owner, a challenge which they have embraced.The success of elysium after 11 years can be attributed to many factors but at the core of everything Jen, Lisa and their expert team do is LOVE. A love of the industry they are part of, love of skin and most importantly, love for their clients.

What we do

Our highly trained and qualified team offer all beauty services from waxing, mani’s and pedi’s, relaxation facial and body treatments to more clinical skin revision treatments. We are experts at what we do and pride ourselves on our commitment to ongoing training and development, keeping us at the forefront of our amazing industry. We do not compromise on quality and hygiene is of the utmost importance.

We love skin! Our mission is to assist everyone to be the best version of themselves, inside and out.

With over 30 years of combined salon experience, Lisa and Jenni have seen many changes within the industry and been able to specifically place themselves in the market with a unique approach to skin and body.

“We love helping our clients achieve amazing skin results whilst not compromising on the benefits of touch. Our clients enjoy the anti ageing treatments we provide but with hectic lifestyles, need also to relax and escape and we can offer both”.

Lisa and Jenni are both busy working Mums and in spare time love nothing more than quality time with their children.

Cassie Shambrook

Senior Skin Therapist

Originally from Victoria, Cass loves the outdoor Gold Coast lifestyle. She studied her Diploma of Applied Science of Beauty Therapy and qualified in 2007. Cassie has been working in the industry ever since and has gained lots of spa experience along the way, she also has a very strong waxing technique. Cassie loves to perform facials in the salon and enjoys applying make up. Outside of elysium she loves anything that keeps her fit and healthy.

Lauren O’Connell

Senior Skin Therapist

Originally from Sydney, Lauren moved to the Gold Coast last year with her husband. Lauren completed her Diploma of Beauty therapy in Melbourne in 2005. Her warm, friendly nature means she loves the nurturing side of beauty therapy, making her clients feel and look beautiful. She is meticulous in everything she does, an expert at eyebrows, lashes and make-up.

THE SALON

Centrally located at Burleigh Heads – and just a short walk to the beach – elysium provides a retreat for those who love to be pampered and want to look and feel amazing.
There are three private treatment rooms and a pedicure room equipped with a pedicure spa.

elysium’s friendly, tranquil environment is designed to make you unwind and relax. The lights are dimmed and the candles are lit as you chill-out to soothing music and scents. Then our therapists do their magic.
