“False advertising!!!!!!!
I have just cancelled a holiday with Expedia and it will take up to 12 weeks to receive my flight refunds even though I paid insurance.
Now trying to book another holiday and during the process the price jumps by approx $600. This would be okay if the price was changing and remaining so but no – you do the same search again and again and it provides you with the lower price repeatedly and upon proceeding the price jumps up again. Shame on you!!!! On principle I will book direct through the airline even if it costs more. Very disappointing.”
“Guys I’ve had my flights cancelled because of poor weather. As requested I booked again with you to get home. Now I can’t get a refund for the original flights. Can I have some help please? Your Customer Service helpline isn’t helping and I’m $3500 out of pocket.”
“I am trying to obtain points for a flight and hotel package holiday taken in June 2015 since 7th April 2016. I have also requested escalation to gold status as I have completed 24 hotel nightsSo far have spoken to 28 different people, spent 13 hours plus on phone, had 5 different escalations and still do not have a result. Only once has someone phoned me back and then only to say they need more time So far have agreed to delays of 24/48 hours at least 5 times Last week I agreed to a delay of 7 days which ended on Monday whenI was again asked to give more time but still no result. I do not know what the problem is and no one has contacted me so that I can clarify any problems My latest case number is S-121711717 raised on 28th April.All other cases raised have disappeared and no one has ever come back to me. I am just told they are working on it. Clearly this is untrue or I would have had a result by now.Theses appear to be delaying tactics so that Expedia do not have to honour their side of the bargain. I am so disappointed in their level of service Their customer care department is useless and Im beginning to think that the escalation department does not exist. If they are out there somewhere then could they please be courteous enough to give me a call so that we can sort this out”

“Booked the Wellesley resort Fiji for next month and wanted to get a refund for one night as we decided to arrive a day later. (And then wanted to stay an extra day at the end, said to change it would be $300 even though an extra night at the end only costs $100!))Originally said they would refund us the $91 aud then 2 minutes said oh no the price is changed you’ll have to PAY US $200 aud + to stayed a DAY LESS umm how about no could just turn up the day late and just lose the $91 instead !?! makes no sense at all. Great service guys… NOT. Rang the hotels head office and they were happy to change the dates for nothing.”
