What is Threading?

Eyebrow Threading is Indian and Middle Eastern technique that removes hair using a twisted piece of cotton thread.

Benefits of Threading Over Waxing

Threading is all natural and utilises an Antibacterial Threading Thread which is thrown away after each use, there are no harmful chemicals or artificial waxes involved.

Threading is less painful than waxing. It only targets the individual hair, therefore it keeps irritation to a minimum and unlike waxing which removes the delicate top layers of the skin, threading only takes the hair out.

Safe for those who have sensitive skin and have severe reactions to waxing. It is safe for those on Acne medication such as Retin-A, Acutane, etc.

This process is also ideal for people who wear contact lenses because they don’t have to suffer putting on mascara any longer.

The process involves a quick and non-surgical procedure using vegetable dye as tint. Compared to putting on mascara, the effects of eyelash tinting is very natural. For this reason, most salons and spas cannot lighten the color of your natural eyelashes.

Eyebrow tinting is something that is done at a salon by a specialist. Eyebrow tinting is pretty much dying your eyebrow to match your hair color. What are Eyelash Extensions

Eyelash Extensions is a revolutionary new product that lengthens and thickens eyelashes. Eyelash Extensions are single strands of synthetic aka MINK eyelashes that are curved to replicate a natural eyelash. They are applied to individual eyelashes, one lash at a time, for a natural, elegant and luscious look. Eyelash Extensions is perfect for special occasions as well as for every day wear.

Prior to your appointment

– Remove all eye makeup and clean your lashes preferably with an oil free make up remover.
– Do not use moisturizer before application.
– Do not wear mascara.
– Do not curl or perm the lashes as this may hinder the eyelash extension application process.
– Remove contact lenses.
– Set aside ample time for your appointment so you don’t feel rushed.
– Full set usually takes between 45 to 90 minutes.

Eyelash Extension After Treatment Advice

– Eyelash Extensions will last for 4-6 weeks if you look after them with a lot of care.
– No water should contact the eyes for at least 12 hours.
– Only use 100% oil free make up remover.
– No swimming, steam, spas, hot baths for at least 48 hours.
– Do not apply cream, cleansers to the eyelashes at any time.
– Do not use any mascara on the eyelashes, if desired, get an eyelash tint prior to treatment.

Q. How long will your powder last; how many applications will I get?

A. It should last for about 6 – 8 months. Powder can be re-purchased separately when you run out.

Q. Eyebrow powders versus  pencils -what can powder do for me?

A. Eyebrow powder is simple to apply evenly and quickly. It creates those perfect edges that grace magazine covers, when applied with  a stencil.For those with  sparse areas or faint color, powder adds both color and  volume. This creates an overall softer effect than the application of simply  color.
