Our Team

Anita Jakins – Managing Director
For nearly 20 years Anita, with her strong passion for learning, has focused on the accounting and business arena to become a specialist in business accounting, bookkeeping and administrative procedures. She has gained widespread recognition for her strong work ethics, efficiency, commitment and expertise. Over the past 5 years, Eyes on Business has grown with a wonderful array of business clients from many industries. Our team works with a broad spectrum of people from mum and dad businesses, to reporting management accounts for larger organisations.

Amanda Catton – Brisbane Western Corridor
Amanda has a Bachelor of Commerce degree and has been working in the industry for over 30 Years. She has held various senior management positions at accountancy firms and other businesses. Due to a opportunity that has arisen at Eyes On Business she has become a Director. Amanda was an employee with EOB for over 3 years before becoming a Director. Passionate about her career and clients, Amanda strives to ensure her clients are serviced professionally and on time. An additional focus for Amanda is to grow Eyes on Business in the Western Corridor of Brisbane from Rocklea to Ipswich. Amanda has extensive knowledge on MYOB and Reckon and Reckon one and is continuously increasing her knowledge. A mother of five children Amanda enjoys in her spare time riding her horse, rugby union and watching crime shows.

Emily Stehmann – Supervisor Southern Gold Coast
Emily has completed her Diploma in Accounting and has spent the years since 2004 working in Administration & Bookkeeping. Emily joined the team at Eyes on Business looking to further her passion of bookkeeping and further her knowledge and experience in small and medium sized businesses. In her spare time Emily likes to relax with friends and family dinning and wining and enjoys the outdoors whilst walking the dog and keeping fit. After 3 years with the Eyes on Business team Emily is looking forward to her new role as the Supervisor for the Southern Gold Coast region from Broadbeach to Coolangatta. Emily is looking forward to expanding her clientele and becoming part of the community.

Patricia Fraser – Accounts Consultant
Trish has over 30 years’ experience working as a bookkeeper/accounts manager. Before joining the team at Eyes on Business in January 2016 she worked in the Agricultural sector and has extensive knowledge of MYOB. Trish holds a diploma in Bookkeeping, a Certificate IV in Accounting and is currently studying her Diploma in Accounting. She is passionate about numbers and loves problem solving. Since joining the team Trish has gained experience working on Reckon and Xero software.

Outside of work Trish loves spending time with family, playing and watching sport and reading. She loves animals and is a firm believer in a healthy and balanced lifestyle.

Louise Lamb – Accounts Consultant Gold Coast
Louise has over 15 years experience working as a bookkeeper, initially working in London then moving to the gold coast in 2008. She obtained her Certificate IV in bookkeeping in 2011 and worked in the private sector prior to joining the team at Eyes on Business. Louise specializes in Xero and possess extensive knowledge of the software and it’s add on features. Louise has two sons and enjoys an active life located on the northern end of the Gold Coast. With an interest in Psychology and meditation she is a strong believer in a work / life balance.

Kristine Moore – Administrator /Trainee Bookkeeper
Kristine has many years experience within reception, administration and data entry and has recently completed her Certificate III in Business. Kristine is passionate to be part of the team at Eyes on Business and she looks forward to assisting you with all your queries. She is also eager to further develop her skills and knowledge within bookkeeping. Outside of work Kristine enjoys being outdoors with her children, keeping fit and living a healthy lifestyle.

Mary Mashayekh – Accounts Consultant
Mary migrated to Australia in 2011 and completed her Master degree of Commerce (Professional Accounting) at Griffith University. She has 2 years local work experience in tax industry, finalising tax returns for various types of clients and providing proactive advice and solutions to individuals and small businesses.  She is currently in the process of completing her CPA (Certified Practising Accountants) program in order to be a qualified accountant.

Mary joined the great team of Eyes on Business in November 2015 with the goal of further developing her skills and providing the best service to clients. She has a strong passion to assist small to medium size businesses to manage their accounts and increase their profits, earnings and tax saving. Outside work, Mary enjoys exercising in the gym, playing tennis and hanging out with friends. Mary believes that work is a significant part of life which makes it more rewarding.
