ABOUT US

Five Dock Physiotherapy & Sports Injury Centre was established in the early 1990s, initially located next door and then moved into Five Dock Medical Centre in 2006. The practice has since grown and we now have three full time physiotherapists in our clinic.

Our staff pride themselves in being members of the Australian Physiotherapy Association (APA), Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy Australia and Sports Physiotherapy Australia and all physios are graduates of the highly regarded Sydney University.

As a team our physios have a particular interest in not only treating our patients current symptoms, but also in injury prevention and addressing the biomechanical compensations that occur with injury. We firmly believe that if these abnormal compensations are not corrected, surrounding musculoskeletal structures will be adversely affected and a recurrent or chronic condition is likely to develop.

Five Dock Physiotherapy & Sports Injury Centre has been affiliated with various sporting clubs and teams over the years providing on-field coverage and treatment for both male and female competitors, but we certainly do not only deal with sports people. We thus treat a range of Injury Areas both with the sporting population and the general public.

Reviews

“When both boys sustained injury I went to see these guys: My son broke his finger and my other son injured his knee less than 24 hours later. Never met anyone so caring as Matt (and staff) , chasing up x-rays, MRIs and calling me twice afterwards to check how they’re going. He even got my son Chris who was so worried about putting pressure on his foot to walk on it. Chris did it so that Matthew would be proud of him. I think the world of this gem of a place xx Thank you everyone”

“Ive had an ankle reconstruction last year and have taken my cast off in January. Adrian and Matt have helped me through the rough times of being in pain and not walking properly. Always being patient and caring. The girls at the reception are always so kind and helpful and very cheery. Makes my day that more better! Thankyou guys so much.”

“A Great physiotherapy clinic, with a very friendly and caring rehab environment. Staff are also highly accredited and share great interpersonal skills/qualities.”

“Maria is wonderful on reception. What a hoot, and nothing is too much trouble.
Adrian has been a wonder sorting out my nerve injury; patient, calm and gentle (well ish). Thanks to you all for helping me recover. Can’t recommend these guys enough.”

“I highly recommend this clinic. Matt and Brittany have helped me sort out my neck issues over the years, and they’ve also helped me when when I had back pain during pregnancy.”
