We’ve been based in the Flagstone Estate since 2007 and our Principal Accountant Kim Brearley has over 15 years’ experience in all types of taxation and business matters. We’re locals and we understand the needs of local businesses. Like many of our clients we run our business from home on an acreage. We’re happy to invite you to our purpose built office or come and visit you, although we find that for the majority of our clients we do most of our business over the phone, via skype or email, we know you’re often too busy for face-to-face meetings!

We believe it’s important to be here for you and for that reason we aim to deal with a problem straight away, we know time is money and if you call or email us you need an answer, quickly!

We are forward thinking and use the latest technology to help you get ahead. We are not your traditional accountant who just sees you at the year end, when it’s often too late to help. Kim Brearley
Principal

Our principal accountant Kim Brearley has over fifteen years’ experience in all types of taxation matters. Kim holds a Bachelor of Business degree majoring in Accounting & Electronic Commerce, she is a Registered Tax Agent and registered ASIC agent and also a member of the Institute of Public Accountants (AIPA) and Taxpayers Australia.

Kim has been working in accounting since 1999. She began her career in a small accounting firm on the outskirts of Sydney working her way up from receptionist to senior bookkeeper. She loved the work so much that in 2001 she started studying accounting, still working full time and also raising two young boys. Kim has been a MYOB partner since 2006 and has used the software since 1999. She is also a Certified Xero Advisor and the firm achieved Silver partner status in 2015. She has advanced Excel skills, including financial modelling. Kim began her own business working from home in 2005 when she moved to the Jimboomba region.

We now have over 650 clients in the three eastern states and work via electronic means (email, phone, skype, Google Drive, DropBox). We even have clients that don’t have email and post their information to us on paper. But we can process any format electronic or paper.”

Belinda Boswell
Accountant

Belinda is our junior accountant, she holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree majoring in Accounting and has been with the firm since 2010.

Belinda is a Certified Xero Advisor and has also has experience using MYOB since 2010. She has advanced bookkeeping skills in MYOB and Xero and advanced Excel skills. Belinda is also a payroll specialist. She enjoys the variety of work that she takes care of and also the variety of industries clients come from.

Jamie Brearley

Jamie is currently studying Multi-media at QUT Brisbane and has worked part-time for us since 2011. He helps with data entry and filing and is a Xero Certified Advisor. He specialises in IT and software development and assists in training staff in new software.
