“Around 18 months after a car accident that left me with chronic pain, and a case of 18 months, and still not a complete day with out pain (the most I was a getting was a couple of hours, with pain killers and not going anywhere, which kinda kills your work and social life if you maintain that) I went on advice from an old friend to get a treatment from FlameTree Massage The atmosphere of the house and room, feeling like it was Aunt Jodie’s house, enabled a level of relaxation, as it did not feel like a doctors surgery, where you are afraid to cough. The treatment was done in a quiet room, with the air filled with very gentle music and lovely scents. It was so calm I could easily have gone to sleep. While everytime I have physio, there is pain, but that is what is needed to get into the problems I have with my muscles and nerves that were damaged, so that is par for the course as part of my on going treatment. It was very easy to relax, and feel the warmth of the welcome. In Sydney, I have had 8 different physio’s spread over to Physio Clinics, over the last 30 months. The physio at FlameTree Massage is the only one I have had, where physio alone has made me able to have two days in a row with Zero pain. If I could afford to, I would be flying up to Brisbane on a regular basis, just to be treated by the physio at FlameTree Massage, as I can say without a doubt, it was the best physio for my back problems I have had to date.”

“I have been looking for a long time, to find someone that is great at massage, someone that can help me become pain free. I am always on the go, my muscles get knotted and tight. I found FlameTree on facebook, checked out the reviews, read people’s posts, thought that it must be great having 15 reviews at 5 stars, so many wonderful stories about people being pain free. And the price, OMGoodness, I couldn’t believe my luck. Someone this great, offering a 1 and 1/2 hour massage for $55, I thought that I was so blessed to find them. Right to the point of opening that gate. I’m sorry, but I was so scared while walking in that gate and down that path. The smell, the mess, it’s rather overwhelming. I was hoping that I had gone to the wrong place, but the sign on the fence and in front of the house told me I had the right place. At the end of the path (to the right) was a laundry/toilet room with a dog on a chair. I was early, I knocked because I worried I was at the wrong place. I was offered the chair, which I turned down, there was no way I was sitting there. The massage room was a little less dirty, but looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in awhile, no air conditioning, so the windows were open which let the smell in. I was told that I would have a full body massage for 1 hour and the last 1/2 hour, she would go over any body parts that needed extra attention. (Before I got undressed, I explained all of my sore points.) That didn’t happen. One sore muscle didn’t even get touched frown emoticon One good point, Phiona did a relaxing massage, but I told her I was there because of muscle pain, which she said she specializes in and the reviews and posts reported. I am all for people doing what they need to do, to earn a dollar, but I couldn’t get over the mess and failing to do as she promised. If you can forgive them mess, the smell and need a relaxing massage at a bargain price, it’s a 2 star place at best. “
