“I am writing into you today to explain about a really bad experience I had at Flight Centre at Westfield Liverpool Shopping Centre this evening at approximate 1945.
It is appalling to witness an employee of Flight Centre of such a respected chain to offer a disgraceful service. I was disappointed to have experienced this kind of service by the staff member Rebecca.
I visited Flight Centre with a colleague who was interested into booking an international flight.
The staff member Rebecca took down travel enquires of my colleague. While dealing with Rebecca we asked if it was cheaper booking online or through flight centre over the desk. Rebecca said “Whatever price you see online is the price you get here, even if you see it on Air Asia website, because we get our prices from the Air Asia website” Rebecca wasn’t very helpful and both myself and my colleague did not feel welcomed from the beginning of Rebecca’s dealings.
Rebecca’s customer service was of poor satisfaction from the very beginning. She did not introduce herself and make us feel welcomed.
I asked Rebecca if I wanted to book a flight to Kuala Lumpur and visit Penang, how do I do a stop over booking from your website as its not giving me the option. Rebecca said you cant do it from your Mobile you need to do it from a desktop.
Rebecca said she will get back to us tomorrow with a Quote regarding my colleagues holiday. As we decided to leave I walked back into Flight Centre whilst my friend waited outside, I loaded up the Flight Centre page as well as the Air Asia web page ready to show Rebecca that I have loaded up the website from a Desktop View on my Android phone and if she could show me the option it gives me to do a Multi City stop over booking to Penang.
Rebecca said to me “Im busy at the moment, just wait” i decided to wait until she was ready to finish helping her colleague who was experiencing a problem on the computer.
I waited patiently and didn’t mind until Rebecca was ready.
Moments later Rebecca’s work colleague asked me if she was able to be of any help. I asked her if she could show me on my Android phone as i have now opened up the desktop website regarding booking a trip with a stop over at Penang for a couple of nights and a stop over at Kuala Lumpur for a few nights
The staff was unable to explain and that I needed to do it from a computer not understanding that I have loaded up the page to be viewed as a desktop as the page gives you the option to load it as a mobile page or desktop page, I did say I’m happy to wait for Rebecca to finish as she couldn’t explain.
Rebecca overheard the conversation and said with her face mounted to the computer screen as she was busy resolving another issue, “I was going to tell you what she just told you”
I said “It has been very poor customer service in here tonight” and walked off, Rebecca than left what she was doing and decided to follow me to the front of the shop mouthing off with a disgusting attitude about how she is not going to get back to my friend about his Quote” i asked her “can I have your name ?” She said “My name is Rebecca, and I’m the Manager here” with a disrespectful tone.
I trust this is not the way that Flight Centre does business and that you will mention my concern with Rebecca. I am open to discussing the matter further.
I will not recommend Flight Centre Liverpool Westfield. My colleague is also disappointed that Rebecca will not be getting back to him regarding his Quote.
Rebecca needs further training as she is unable to deal in a customer base service role. I felt like I was in a preschool when I heard Rebecca say “Im not going to get back to your friend” (really, my friend is outside waiting for me)
