Owner – Lynn Mather

“I have been hairdressing for over 35 years. I started my career in Caboolture and and have been working on the Peninsula since the early 80’s and have owned my own salons since 1995. I purchased this salon in 2005 to support my 2 beautiful daughters and changed the name 7 years ago to FMG Hair (For My Girls). I love the idea that our clients can come to FMG and relax, feel valued and leave with hair that makes them feel on top of the world. I particularly love cutting and have learned over the years the importance of personalizing each cut to suit the individual. My loves are, spending time with family which includes our wonderful team and clients of FMG hair, (I love good, kind people and having a laugh), food ( both cooking and eating), personal growth, spending time outdoors, swimming, animals and the environment.

“My name is Anna and I am 22 years old. I have been part of the FMG Hair team for 6 years now and I love it! I began working here whilst I was in my last year of school and then completed my apprenticeship and I’ve never looked back since. I love every part of hairdressing, but my favourite is being able to change how someone feels about themselves. My favourite colour is pink. I love my family, friends, animals, health and travel (exploring new things)”.

After being in the industry for more than 20 years – hair and clients are my passion! I’m originally from South Africa and my husband and dog (fur baby) have been travelling and working in Australia for almost 3 years. It’s been a a great journey and now we are settled in Qld and it is home.. my Loves are Family, Fun, Great Food, Animals. My favourite colour at the moment is Green, Art and Home décor interest me also.
