Our mission at Fringe is to genuinely care for every client who visits our salon. At Fringe we are not just about being a hairdressing salon, we have created a valuable, relaxing experience that our clients can really enjoy.

We enjoy giving back to the community, while setting an example as a salon with environmental awareness.

The success of Fringe Hairdressing stems from Tarsha O’Brien and Heather Yuill’s years of experience and commitment to the hairdressing industry.

Tarsha and Heather are consistently mentoring and training their staff and also enjoy introducing new salon concepts, making Fringe one of the best salons in Canberra.

Our focus is on haircutting and colouring hair that can be managed by our clients in between their salon visits. We use and love the Aveda range of products as we believe they give superior results for beautiful hair colour and conditioning shine.
The Fringe experience begins with a relaxing head neck and shoulder massage that we call your ‘greeting’. After your greeting, you will have a consultation on hair ideas with your stylist. If your visit includes having a colour, you also receive a complimentary hand massage during your colour processing time.

Refreshments, including coffee and a selection of herbal teas such as a delicious certified organic Aveda tea, are offered during your visit. If your visit is in the afternoon or evening, you are also offered wine sourced from a local producer.

Aveda

As an exclusive Aveda salon, we stock a large range of Aveda hair products. The products are designed to provide the special nourishment and protection your hair needs, while maintaining the look that has been created for you with Aveda styling products.

Jewellery

We stock and sell the following range of local jewellery: MINK jewellery by local Canberra designer; Peter Lang a Sydney designer; Brooke George a designer from the mid north coast; and Jewellery by Dee, a designer from Narooma south coast.
