There are various methods we use to produce the perfect cut. The one we use depends on your hair type and the style we wish to achieve. Wet cutting is good for creating strong shapes and for the hairdresser it is easy to manage.

However, the look can change after drying. Dry cutting is great to create texture. You can soften lines and take the weight out of bulky sections of your style. Combine the two and you can have the best of both; strong shapes that we then soften into lovely flowing styles.
The choice of tool is essential in creating the type of look we are after. Each tool will give a specific type of cut and texture. Our stylists’ trained eye and steady hand will create a stunning look that can change the look and feel of an individual.

Some of the best hairstyles today require minimal maintenance. A great cut will support 80% of the style. In saying that, the more time spent on a hairstyle will enhance change and improve the look. “My daughter has been going to fringes since she was in primary school. During the last holidays she decided to have her lightened starting from the top and get highlights put in at the same time. She has taken pride in growing her hair and looks after it. As I was working at the time of her appointment I was unable to go with her. She is a teenager with high anxiety and struggles to interact with people she does not know. That morning I advised her to show the picture she was looking for as a new hair colour. To my dismay she advised me she showed a gentleman at the salon of the picture she was looking for. Within 5 minutes she was given to another salon worker to do her hair. After I got home she was in tears as the colour was nothing like the picture she showed the staff. Due to her anxiety she did not want me to ring your salon straight away. After two weeks as a her mum I decided enough was enough it wasnt like I didnt pair a fair price for the colour and cut at $150.00 her hair only needed a trim on the ends. The colour she was after was supposed to have several highlights in it starting near the roots of her head. Instead she her colouring started halfway down hair and there are lines you can clearly see where the single colour was applied which is now a copper colour. I rang your salon to discuss what had happened and to let you know about her anxiety. I was assured she would be looked after as soon as you could fit her in. Due to her being in year ten at school and my working commitments it was nearly two weeks before we could get in which I totally understood. Tonight we attended an appointment only to be told the pic she had the person had hair extensions and we would need to pay to have her her coloured again and there was a mis communication in the type of colour she was after. I find it hard to believe this as the person who the pic belonged to does not have extensions. Is it not up to your staff to listern at the beginning of the consultation to see exactly what they are after. The lady I spoke to tonight spoke down to my myself and daughter. I tried to sort this problem out with a call and I was assured the problem would be fixed. As long as we paid at least half of the cost for the new colour to make matters worst the hair consultant talked down not only to me but also to my daughter. I initially avoided writing a post by calling and trying to sort the problem way out in a professional matter. But alas the way we were treated tonight was very unprofessional. I am the first to praise someone when I receive great service unfortunately on this case I can not.”
