Furr Hair has been creating hair artistry since 1995.  It is the fifth hair salon of extroadinary hair artist and founder, John Velvet.

John Velvet’s approach to the art of hairdressing is quite unlike any other hairdressing salon you have ever experienced.  John works with his clients to create hair styles and colours that enhance their own unique sense of style and self expression.  He is a master hairdresser with excellent cutting and colouring skills and an awe inspiring flair for creative hair artistry.

Throughout his career John has been in high demand for creating unique, interesting and glamourous styles.  His portfolio of work includes creating hair that inspires both his clients and other hairdressers, as well as creating the impossible – through pushing the boundaries of what can be achieved with an intimate knowledge of hair, the highest technical skill and vision, and whilst always maintaining the integrity of the hair.

The salon is committed to creative excellence, with every team member undergoing rigorous training to develop their skills in all facets of hair artistry.  Our passionate team work together to consistently deliver amazing hair and service for every client.
