Our community
General Taxation Services believes in supporting and giving back to our local community and, in particular, those individuals and families whom are less fortunate. This is why we have created a sports scholarship program for underprivileged children. This program enables kids to learn about teamwork, recognise and understand discipline and, most importantly, gain self-esteem – all aspects of which are valuable in the transition to their adult lives.

Graham Robinson – Principal –  graham@generaltax.com.au
With over 20 years’ experience in the Accounting profession, Graham is the Principal at General Taxation Services. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Public Accountants, a Registered SMSF Auditor, Registered ASIC Agent and Registered Tax Agent.  Graham has developed a specialised skill-set and provides taxation, accounting, auditing and business services to his clients.  With continued support from his competent and highly motivated team, his firm has grown into a successful, dynamic, client-focused practice.

Michael Wilson – Senior Accountant – michael@generaltax.com.au
Michael is a Certified Practicing Accountant and Registered Tax Agent who brings a broad range of knowledge to his clients at GTS.  With 10 years’ experience, Michael has been able to fully explore his strengths and interests; in turn, allowing him to work closely with individuals and small-to-medium sized business clients.  Michael has the required skill-set to provide quality income tax, financial reporting and business services to his clients. With a great level of insight and expertise, Michael’s comprehensive knowledge of indirect taxes is also highly valued by clients.

A skilled professional and qualified accountant, Tara has worked in various small-to-medium sized accounting firms as well as in commerce for corporate entities.  This varied experience of business means Tara is well placed to help clients understand their financial affairs and above-all increase their profitability.  She loves the challenges of working with different types of businesses and enjoys challenging the status quo.  Tara is also an active CPA associate member.

With over 20 years’ experience, Carmen is our resident bookkeeper and assistant accountant.  Her working knowledge of MYOB is notable and her meticulous attention to detail is too.  She is driven to deliver accurate, timely and substantiated information and solutions to our clients.  Carmen is passionate about anticipating clients’ needs and providing top quality service.

Lorischa Agnew – Accountant – admin@generaltax.com.au
Since joining GTS, Lorischa has focused on helping our clients better understand their businesses.  She particularly enjoys providing clients with value added services and assisting them to ensure that their businesses are successful.  Lorischa also thrives on working with the GTS team to brainstorm ideas for helping improve client services in new and exciting ways.   Available from Monday to Wednesday, Rischa can help with anything from general enquiries to support questions.

Samantha Beasant – Office Manager – sam@generaltax.com.au
A switched-on administrator, Sam plays a vital role in the business, ensuring all operations continue in a smooth, efficient and error-free manner.  She assists our team of accountants by liaising with all statutory authorities and works to resolve all administration matter for clients. Sam is responsible for the maintenance of our clients’ corporate secretarial work including lodgements with the Australian Securities and Investments Commission, the Australian Business Register and the Australian Taxation Office.
