Katherine Tsakonas launched Gingham & Heels in Sydney’s bustling Markets. Trading every weekend no matter rain, hail or shine, G&H was embraced by women of all ages for its beautiful, classic and easy to wear pieces.

What began as a fun and creative adventure designing and selling beautiful clothing in Sydney’s Paddington and Bondi Markets quickly turned into an established brand that now boasts over 7 stores Nationwide alongside a successful online store that is accessible to a global customer base.

After years of praise in Sydney’s Markets Katherine ventured from Sydney to Melbourne where she would hold weekly pop up markets alongside other designers within Major shopping centres, spreading her love for design and fashion.  Katherine soon realised the demand for fashionable Women’s Clothing and began designing and sourcing fashionable on trend pieces that were easy to wear, chic and affordable.

Today Gingham & Heels has grown to compete amongst Australia’s top fashion labels, aspiring to be an affordable fashion boutique that maintains a beautiful aesthetic and appeals to every woman.

AUSTRALIAN ORDERS

STANDARD SHIPPING to all AUSTRALIAN RESIDENTS is a flat fee of $5

EXPRESS SHIPPING to all AUSTRALIAN RESIDENTS is a flat fee of $10.

You may choose which shipping method you prefer at Checkout.

ORDERS OVER $75 WILL BE FREE STANDARD SHIPPING!

We post all orders using Australia Post E-Parcel. All orders placed before 1:00pm Monday and  2.00pm Tuesday to Friday will have same day dispatch and should arrive to you the next day for express, or 2 – 3 business days for standard delivery if you are located in the metro areas within Australia.
Regional areas may take an extra 3 – 5 days.

As soon as we have dispatched your order Australia Post will email you with confirmation and a tracking number. Please use this tracking number on the Australia Post website http://auspost.com.au/track/track.html?id  to follow your items whereabouts. If you do not receive your parcel after the estimated delivery times please contact Australia Post and quote the number they provided.

PLEASE NOTE: Deliveries are out of our control so please keep this in mind whilst waiting for your order. If you haven’t been home or you think your parcel is overdue we suggest you call your local post office as your parcel may be awaiting collection. We take no responsibility for lost or missing parcels. Once we have dispatched an item, it then becomes the responsibility of Australia Post.

We ship worldwide! All international orders are distributed daily Monday to Friday AESDT.

NEW ZEALAND

We offer FREE EXPRESS shipping for all orders over $150.
For orders under $150, we charge $10 for Standard Shipping and $20 Express Shipping.

UNITED STATES

We offer FREE EXPRESS shipping for all orders over $200.
For orders under $200, we charge $20 Express Shipping.
ASIA (Hong Kong & Singapore)

We offer FREE EXPRESS shipping for all orders over $150.
For orders under $150, we charge $10 for Standard Shipping and $20 Express Shipping.

REST OF THE WORLD 

We offer FREE international shipping for all orders over $200.
For orders under $200, we charge a flat rate fee of $20 for Standard Shipping.

Delivery times cannot be guaranteed by Gingham & Heels. Please allow 2 – 3 business days for orders to be processed.
Any delays post-despatch will be out of our control and will be the responsibility of the shipping company.

Please keep in mind we have a 2KG LIMIT on all International orders.
If your order is over 2kg, you will be emailed to organise an extra postage charge.

To give you an idea of what could add up to 2KG, here are some approx. weights of different styles. Please keep this in mind when ordering.

CUSTOMS DUTIES AND TAXES ON INTERNATIONAL ORDERS

While we do our best to avoid customs duties and taxes on International orders, in the event that an international shipment attracts custom duties and taxes, you are required to pay all Duties and Taxes on the order upon the arrival of your goods in your country. RETURNS & EXCHANGES

AUSTRALIAN & INTERNATIONAL ORDERS

If you are not 100% satisfied with your purchase at Gingham & Heels you may return it within 21 days of receiving your item and will be automatically issued with an Online Store CREDIT in the form of a Gift Card.
We do not refund for change of mind.
Please note that if an item does not fit, it is considered a change of mind and can not be refunded.
This credit may then be used to re-purchase your preferred item/size.
You may also return an online purchase in-store, which will be issued as an in-store credit.

PLEASE NOTE: If you return a parcel with ‘Return to Sender’ noted on your parcel, $25 will be deducted from your Credit Note as this is how much Australia Post charges for parcels handled this way.

FREE RETURN POSTAGE FOR ORDERS OVER $100
(AUSTRALIAN ORDERS ONLY)

If you have placed an order for $100 or more, and you wish to return any or all of the items from your original order, upon return you will then be credited an additional $5 with your gift card, which will cover the postage charge for your next order.

For example: Sarah purchases the Diem Pants $50 & a Gypsy Dress $59, her order will be a total of $109. Sarah then chooses to return the Diem Pants ($50).
Once her return is received at G&H HQ, she will then be emailed her Gift Card for the value of $55 to put towards her next order.

We will process your return and issue you with a CREDIT in the form of a Gift Card within 5 business days of us receiving your item. You will then receive an email from our Returns Team with details of the store credit along with clear instructions on how to use it. Online store credits are valid for 6 months. If you have not received an email please email us at orders@ginghamandheels.com.au check your junk folder also.

HOW TO RETURN AN ITEM Returns must be received in original condition as defined below:

Please return your item along with your completed Returns Form to the address below. You can find your Returns slip in the original satchel we sent your order in. It is copied onto the back of your order sheet. Otherwise you can also download and print it using this link RETURNS FORM. Please ensure you include this information as we require it to identify and credit you.  Items which are not received in their original condition as defined above will automatically be returned to sender, so please take due care when trying on your order. In particular, take care not to get makeup/deodorant/perfume on the garment. In the rare event that a return is rejected the decision is final and not negotiable.

It is HIGHLY recommended that you use a traceable delivery method for returning your item to us- e.g Registered or Express Post.

Please record the tracking number in case the parcel goes missing. Gingham & Heels CANNOT be held responsible if this occurs.

PLEASE NOTE: You may not come in person to return an item at our HEAD OFFICE as it is not open to the public. Under NO circumstances do we accept cash on delivery returns.

CAN I RETURN A SALE ITEM?
Sale items are priced to clear so please choose carefully as we do not accept returns on CLEARANCE items – i:e, all items $40 and under. Under Australian Consumer Law, we are NOT required to provide a refund or replacement on final sale items if you change your mind. This includes a change of mind with regards to colour, size and fit.

FAULTY PRODUCTS 

Each item we send out is initially quality controlled, however if you have received a product that is faulty please contact us ASAP at orders@ginghamandheels.com.au
We will happily cover all postage costs to replace it with an identical item whenever possible. If you do not want the replacement item, then this however is considered to be a change of mind and a store credit will be issued. The only time we will offer a refund, is if we cannot replace the faulty garment with the identical original purchase.
