Professional makeup artist and Director of Makeup 4 Brides and Hair 4 Brides, Lisa Thomas has been making brides beautiful for over 17 years.

Having started off as a single makeup artist she developed the successful Makeup 4 Brides brand simply by offering brides what they wanted and needed: high quality makeup with friendly, honest and reliable service.

As demand increased, so did the size of her team and the creation of Hair 4 Brides as a complementary business.

Now with a team of over 30 makeup artists and hair stylists focusing predominantly on bridal makeup and hair styling, Makeup 4 Brides and Hair 4 Brides are in high demand with many brides booking ’12-18 months’ ahead to secure their team for their special day.

Kerrie (Hair 4 Brides Sunshine Coast South franchisee)

Kerrie has been with the Hair 4 Brides team for over 4 years bringing with her over 20 years experience in all facets of hairdressing with a focus on bridal and competition hair styling. Her career to date has seen her working as a senior stylist in many high profile salons throughout Queensland. She has a natural creative flair for both traditional and unusual bridal styles and would love to create a special bridal style for you. With her bubbly personality and tremendous ability you will be in very good hands. Her love for bridal hair styling couldn’t be more evident after her recent purchase of Hair 4 Brides Sunshine Coast South. Kerrie and her team of hair stylists will ensure you look amazing on your special day.

Kimberly – Sunshine Coast Bridal Hair Stylist

Kimberly joined the Hair 4 Brides team in early 2010. Kimberly has over 7 years experience in the hairdressing field with 5 years bridal experience. Her genuine love of interesting and intricate styling shows through with her creative bridal designs. Her warm and friendly nature coupled with attention to detail will have you relaxed knowing you are in very capable hands.

Nicole – Brisbane Bridal Hair Stylist

Nicole has joined the Hair 4 Brides team and brings with her over 17 years hairdressing experience, including 10 years of extensive bridal hair styling. Being Brisbane based she services predominantly the Brisbane and surrounding regions. Nicole is not only very talented and creative but also extremely quick and skillful with bridal styling. Rest assured with Nicole you are in the hands of a true professional with a lovely easy going nature to complement your busy day.

Sue – Brisbane/Sunshine Coast Bridal Hair Stylist

Hair 4 Brides is very fortunate to have Sue on the team. With over 20 years experience in hair styling including 2 years with the T & K Group in Tokyo, Sue will have you relaxed whilst she gets busy transforming you and your girls with her amazing bridal hair styling skills. Her bubbly outgoing nature and genuine warmth will be a welcome comfort on your wedding day. Sue also has a special interest in styling Asian hair.

Charmaine – Brisbane Bridal Hair Stylist

Chamaine joined the Hair 4 Brides team after running her own very successful bridal makeup and hair styling business in Melbourne. With 20 years hair styling and makeup experience Charmaine will create something amazing for you. Nothing is too much trouble for Charmaine who is very familiar with the pressure of a wedding and the demands of nothing less than perfect. You will be in very good hands with Charmaine’s expertise.

Carly – Sunshine Coast North Bridal Hair Stylist

Carly joined the Hair 4 Brides team in early 2012 and brings with her many years experience with bridal hair styling in the UK. Servicing predominantly the Sunshine Coast Carly’s genuine love of hair styling shows through with here amazing creations. Her lovely, easy going nature will ensure you are truly relaxed on your wedding day.

Hayley – Gold Coast Bridal Hair Stylist (on extended leave)

Hayley is one of our Gold Coast based hair stylists and brings along over 8 years experience with both modern, up-to-date hair styling as well as the more traditional styles for wedding hair. Her unfailing enthusiam and genuine passion for bridal hair styling coupled with her genuine warmth and friendliness will make her a great asset to your wedding day.

Hannah – Gold Coast and Brisbane Bridal Hair Stylist & Makeup Artist

Hannah joined the Hair 4 Brides and Makeup 4 Brides team in 2011. Based in Brisbane Hannah services the Brisbane and Gold Coast regions with her amazing skill in bridal hair design and makeup. Hair 4 Brides is fortunate to have Meaghan as part of the Sunshine Coast South team. Meaghan comes from a well known Melbourne salon where she learned her amazing skills under the care of a world judge of hairdressing competitions. Debbie has been with the Hair 4 Brides Sunshine Coast South team since early 2012. She has a passion and love for styling hair which comes across in the amazing styles that she creates. Michelle – Melbourne Bridal Hair Stylist

Michelle has recently joined the Hair 4 Brides Melbourne team after many years working in the New Zealand wedding and film industries. Michelle is trained in both makeup and hair styling and brings with her over 15 years experience. Her beautiful bridal upstyles are simply amazing…along with her gorgeous warm personality. Deposit:

We ask for a small deposit to secure the wedding date which is fully refundable if a cancellation is received no later than 90 days prior to the wedding date.

The deposit is due within 14 days of making the booking.

The balance is payable by cash on the day directly to the hair stylist or by bank transfer no later than 7 days prior to the wedding date.

As hair styling prices are variable and often the final amount is not known until the hair styles are created, brides usually find it easier to simply pay on the day.

A receipt will be emailed through to you.

Trials:

We offer a reduced price trial for the bride which takes approximately 1 – 1 1/2 hours. In order to offer the reduced price trial we ask that you come to us for this which would be at the hair stylist’s home based studio.

We are more than happy to do trials on bridesmaids, mum’s etc., however trials for all others would be as per the wedding day pricing.

At the trial we discuss your style of wedding, dress, and the look you are wanting to achieve.

Please bring along any pictures or photos of hair styles that you have collected along the way to discuss with your hair stylist.

Your hair stylist will assess the length and thickness of your hair and advise re the suitability for certain hair styles.

Some styles may require extra hair in the form of hair extensions to achieve the look you are after or possibly even hair padding.

Once your hair stylist has a general idea of what you have in mind, or has narrowed down your look by eliminating others that you definitely don’t want, she will start styling your hair and will show you a few variations of the style.

Please note that minimal hair product will be used at your hair trial compared to the wedding to allow your hair stylist to move the hair around to demonstrate a few looks.

A full brush out and total re-style from scratch is not factored into the $80.00 trial price or timings.

Brides are offered one reduced price trial and any subsequent trials, if requested, are as per the wedding day fees.

Photos will be taken at the trial once your desired style is achieved and developed ready to show you on your wedding day.

Of course, changes are allowed if you wish to alter your hair style on the wedding day.

Trials are best done 2 – 3 months out from the wedding date but can be done further ahead if required. We do need to book trials in around our wedding bookings so weekend availability may be limited or restricted in the timings available but are definitely possible.

Once your booking is made, your hair stylist is allocated and your wedding date is secured, we then ask that you make contact when you are ready to look at some dates for your hair trial with the hair stylist who is allocated to your wedding day booking.

She will then get in touch to organise a time that is mutually suitable for you both.

In the event that a hair stylist from one base location is already fully booked another will be offered to you however a travel fee may be applicable. This would be fully quoted to you, if applicable, when you ‘request a quote’.
Pricing is subject to change and/or loading. Certain dates such as Christmas Day, Boxing Day, New Years Day, Good Friday and Easter Sunday may incur a loading.

This will be quoted to you when you ‘request a quote’. We reserve the right to charge an early start time fee for bookings starting prior to 6.00am.
