“THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I HAVE EVER HAD! I am a hairdresser of 9 years experience, I walked into the store to buy some peroxide there was no one on the shop floor so after waiting 5 mins I asked the stylist at the back of the shop if she could help me. She ignored me at first then just turned round from her customer (who she was cutting) and threw me a look that could kill, I apologised, and then asked her if she had any universal activator (as most hairdressers know some peroxides aren’t compatible with some colours) she answered “yes” in a huffy way as if I was asking a ridiculous question. She plonked it in my hand turned round and walked off. I wanted to pay for it but still there was no one on the shop floor. After waiting another few minutes at the desk a staff walked in from outside straight past me and stood behind the till, she didn’t say hello or look at me. She scanned the product then after an uncomfortable silence looked up at me with a what do you want look, ‘um, I’m sorry but how much is this please?’ she replied with the amount no please no thank you and still with an attitude that made me feel like I was asking very silly questions. Before I had taken the product she just walked off no goodbye. the only words she said was the amount! Now I know I am ranting on but after 10 years customer service I was stunned at how bad it was and the looks they gave me made me feel like I had done something outrageous! I would never recommend anyone go to this shop!”

“Went to hair direct to buy a straightener (only went there cause it was the closest hair salon to where I live) and stressed to the owner that I wanted a top of the line hair straightener that works on thick curly hair. She had suggested a brand that I was reluctant about and ensured me that it would do the job. Just as I had thought it works very averagely on my hair. I’ve been through my fair share of straighteners that I’m very happy with but since I’m not from Australia and need one that works with the voltage here I needed one of the same standard and didn’t pay attention to how much I needed to spend. I asked for an exchange because it was not up to the standard that she had said it was. The owner was not helpful, talked down on me like I was stupid and that since she had so much experience in the industry that she knew better. From a coustemer service standpoint, that’s uncalled for. Couldn’t exchange my straightener and now am $90 out and rather throw the straighter away then use it. I suggest not to buy products from this salon because if you’re not satisfied then good luck to you.”

“Went here several times for various services, mainly colour work. When I didn’t get the colour I had asked for, which was a simple process, I was informed that they offer to redo the service for free, which should not be a store policy as they should be able to get it right the first time. Another, previous time, they had dyed my hair and neglected to inform me that they were needing to use more hair dye and when I asked why the service had increased in price, it was said that it was up to me to ask them during the process rather than them explaining it to me, showing poor customer service. Overall, I sadly cannot recommend this salon and can only say that one can find much more professional salons who will provide a better customer experience and also give better results for the same price or similar.”
