Our boutique salon is now located 15 minutes from the Centre of Canberra at the Chapman Shopping Centre, lower level, Perry Drive Chapman.We pride ourselves on quality and we do our utmost to ensure you are happy.

Hair in the City first opened our doors in Civic in 1998.  In 2011 we expanded to include our new salon at Chapman, in Weston Creek. We strive to provide the highest standard of Hair Styling with a caring, friendly atmosphere.

We are constantly improving our skills and compete on a National level, winning many accolades. This is to ensure our standards are of the highest standards, so our clients get the best we can offer.

We are a boutique salon, situated very conveniently in the city at our Centrepoint salon and our Chapman Studio is at the Chapman Shopping Centre.We pride ourselves on quality. We do our utmost to ensure you are excited about your hair.

Parking

In Chapman – there is free parking at the Chapman Shops, with stair access near the doctors surgery, or a ramp from the same side of the carpark. There is also parking at the rear of the salon which is accessed at the end of Gavin Place, off Thring St.

Feathers

Our feathers are reusable, 100% natural high-quality feathers that have been sourced directly from Canadian whiting farms. If you are gentle and take care of your feathertails, they will last approximately 1 – 4 months.
