Hi, I’m Chrissie The Hair Monkey.

I love HAIR!! I’m a bit of a perfectionist, so love anything that requires precision and concentration (hence my serious face in the photos ha ha!!). As well as being a hairdresser I am also a qualified barber and enjoy wielding a cut throat razor.

I love using colour to accentuate and enhance a haircut. Good colour and correct placement of colour can bring a face to life. I have achieved the Master Colourist qualification.

Curly hair is a particular passion. I love cutting it, as it can be a challenge. It takes time to cut curly hair well, you have to be patient.

You have to cut it, let it relax and then go back to it and see how the curl is lying. I adore curly hair and endeavour to get my curly haired clients to embrace their curls.

I am always happy to demonstrate different techniques to you to help manage your curls.
