“Spent 4 hours and $220 in your Penrith store last night to get a silver balayage done on my natural hair that i had grown out for two years. The girls were very friendly but unfortunately after bleaching hair hair, ‘toning’ it three times and asking them to strip back said toner after it turned my hair almost black i cut my losses and left the salon with a patchy ash brown that is almost identical to my natural hair colour. I very upset because my hair is now damaged (which i would be fine with if it was the colour i asked for) but i will now have to damage it further if i go to get it fixed as i am sure it will have to be re-bleached. The woman who worked on my hair who knew i was unhappy said she felt bad and just reassured me that after washing my hair a couple of times the colour i had would go the silver i asked for… so far i have shampooed my hair 6 times today and it is still the same colour. I cannot believe i paid so much money only to walk out looking exactly the same plus a strange blonde patch on the back of my head. So disappointed.”

“I walked into your werribee store yesterday and talked to a lady about buying a rose gold nose ring, she matched one up with my nose ring currently in my nose, I had a look at it and said to her this looks a bit thick I don’t think it will fit in my nose, she then proceeded to say no it will definitely fit so I trusted her, we got to the check out and I had my doubts so I asked her again and I asked what the thickness of it is and she said to be frankly honest I have no idea I’m just a make up artist but it’s the same thickness of the one in your nose at the moment it was 100% fit, feeling more confident with her answer I then sent $25 on this nose ring only to get home and try to put it in to see that it in fact wouldn’t fit into my nose as it’s too thick. I called the store back explaining my situation and asked if I could do a simple swap to one that was a smaller thickness to be told that due to health and safety reasons they do not take body jewelry back or give refunds or returns, I understand this however I was miss led by your staff into thinking that this nose ring was the right thickness, I now have a $25 piece of body jewelry that I cannot use, completely shattered and disappointed, won’t be going back.”

“I don’t normally leave feedback to companies but if they go above and beyond I feel like it’s nessicary for me to do!
I had a bad experience going to the hair dressers years ago which left me feeling very self conscious and I refused to go back. I ended up doing my own bleach job for years and after trashing my hair I decided to finally go see a professional despite the fear of being ridiculed for the condition of my hair.
I have since gone back regularly to get my hair done by Kye (?) and Amelia at the Fountain Gate store and they have helped me get my hair back up to scratch and given me lots of advice and consistently fantastic service.
For the first time in years I enjoy getting my hair done and always walk away happy with the result!”

“What a joke!!!!!!! Went in for advice on a ash blonde/grey toner, spoke to a staff member who showed me a colour sample of what I wanted!!! Colour was great, so she took the colour pot of the shelf and we proceeded to checkout…….all should have been good!! Well when I got home and opened the pot it was bright blue, she had given me the wrong colour…what a joke!! So I took it back this morning, after explaining what had happened the girl at the front disappeared for ages. She then returns, I’m sorry but because you’ve opened the product we can help you, I explained that I didn’t take the product from the shelf but the staff member did and u expected it to be the correct colour! Off she goes again, the staff in here are horrible dirty looks from every direction. Anyway long story short, wouldn’t exchange for the correct colour. I had to repurchase it!! Told them they could keep the opened product and I’ll shop elsewhere!!! Crap shop, crap service, rude staff….”

“Never shopping at this place again in particular the Werribee store! The staff member there sold me a $70 pony tail extension for my 6 year old dance concert that they matched to her hair in store (still in packet though). When we got home and seen it in a different light it looked ridiculous and wasn’t even close to her hair colour. I returned it a few days later only to be told there is no refunds, credit or anything. The manager suggested I sell it on gumtree or she would give me 20% off another hair extension for $299! You have got to be kidding??
The staff here are rude and incompetent. They are happy to sell you products and take the money but when you return to speak to them as they stuffed up, they don’t want to have anything to do with it. Very disappointed”
