“A staff member from your Chadstone store was particularly rude this afternoon. Was about to purchase a product and decided to walk away thanks to her attitude. Unless she spends her breaks in store, she seemed to spend more time sitting down and looking at her phone than her job.
As I was speaking on the phone with my mum in Chinese, she must’ve assumed I did not speak English. I could hear her gossiping to her colleagues about me interrupting her time on her phone and giving me annoyed looks. Let’s just say, I don’t think that’d be the case if I chose to speak English instead.
I’m not going to say something immature like I’m never buying from hair house warehouse again but I’d appreciate if head office would at least put some efforts in in regards to basic customer service staff training.

“Hi, I purchased a hair straightener on Tuesday for my friend and the sales woman said if I’m ever unhappy with the product I can always return it back and get a refund. My friend opened the box and took the hair straightener out and saw that it was the wrong one and did not use it once at all. Today I tried to return the hair straightener, when one of your sales person who was extremely rude said I couldn’t return because she said that the box had been damaged and it would be hard to sell. I don’t understand how the box would be damaged if my friend took out of the box and put back in the box. This hair straightener cost a lot of money and has never been used, I find it revolting that you would consider taking an item out of the box and putting back in the box would be considered damaged, when the sales person resembled it back and everything was fine. After this incident occurred, I contacted hair house warehouse on Facebook and told them about the issue and informed me that their customer service would contact me within 24 hours and they never did and after about 5 times told me this again and eventually they just ignored my messages. Terrible customer service, I would never shop there again, nor would I recommend it to other people.”

“Hi, I would like to make a complaint concerning Hairhouse Warehouse Gungahlin Canberra.
I booked an appointment for full hair colour and haircut, and was quoted a charge within the range of $145-$165.
However when I went for my appointment the lady changed her statement and very rudely quoted me $220 for the above mentioned services. I have previously 3 months ago got the same services for $155 from the same store branch.
This rude behaviour and drastic difference in quotations wasted my precious time and I am extremely disappointed with this unprofessional behaviour and attitude.
Not going to Hairhouse Warehouse again.”

“This place is a sham. they sell the crappiest flat iron or just duplicates . their return policy is non existant. they find a way to blame it on you. east gardens the manager is a bitch. also racist. apparently she knows more about my hair than i do. and my hair wasn’t meant to be bone straight. bitch why do you think am buying a flat iron. l had an event and even asked for their advice. my hair was like it’s only been blow dried it. I honestly cried on my way home . i was so angry i still am.”

“Bought a Paris glam hair straightening brush on Monday, used it once and it continously switched itself off. I went back to the store on the Thursday, and was told that the girl who can assist me with the matter is not in the shop and to please come back in 15-20 minutes. On returning to the shop the sales assistant went to test the brush and when she returned she simply told me the product does appear to have a problem but there is nothing they can do for me and I must follow the online warranty claim. Will never shop there again.”
