“I had tape in extentions in my hair done elsewhere I then wanted them cut so they would blend in with my hair and look natural.. i went to hairport and got it done and they looked so nice and real where as b4 they looked fake stringy and obvious I was so happy if I get extensions again and need them cut I’d go back to hairport for sure.”

“Horrendous experience at this ‘salon’. Went in the other day had my hair done by the manager Parveen, got referred to her by a friend. What a mistake. Came in to get half a head of foils, toner, cut & blowdry, I got quoted numerous prices by Parveen before establishing what the final price would be, which made me think do they just make up random prices everyday depending on their mood? She rushed my foils, which came out looking like tiger stripes. The haircut was done also in a rush, she cut off my sides when layering around my face and the blowdry, well she did not even blowdry it, she dried it with the hairdryer then straightened it with the ghd, if I ask for a blowdry i expect an actual blowdry, I could have done that at home myself. Can I also note the unprofessional manner of this salon, Parveen screamed across the salon giving orders to one of the girls as she spoke to the other girls in Indian whilst doing my hair and many times whilst i was in the salon, i found this incredibly rude, the Indian girl who washed my hair could barely speak a word of English along with numerous other girls. The ‘price list’ out the front of the salon is completely irrelevant as the prices displayed were not corresponding with the quotes i received, I understand that prices are subject to change but it is misleading and false advertising to display these prices when they are not applicable, at least update your sign! I happened to notice one other customer arguing about these prices as i first entered – this should have been a sign. i found it very hard to communicate my requests to any of the staff here. Don’t know what sort of rubbish they use for ‘shampoo and conditioner’ but it looked no better than something I would buy from Coles. The free ‘treatment’ I recieved did nothing for my hair. I know good products when I see them and I am no hair expert, I use Kerastase products on my hair at home and actually fear the damage their cheap products have done to my hair. There were three staff members who actually appeared competent – the asian woman, the gentleman and the young aussie girl, their clients seemed very impressed, shame I wasn’t referred to one of them. Cheap prices = cheap results.”
