“While the haircut I got was good the service was not. When I arrived I was told my hairdresser no longer worked there (why wasn’t I called to check if I still wanted to go??). then I was asked to wait- I waited for 5 minutes while there was no one else in the salon while the hairdresser sprayed her own hair. While I was getting my wash, she did the usual attempt to buy the salon products. But when I told her I couldn’t afford it due to budget restraints I was made to feel really bad about my shampoo and she kept pushing. When I sat down to get my cut I had been quoted one price, but then she told me that she’d already used a product that would cost x amount more and in order to get a ‘good’ cut I needed to pay x amount more. Not cool. I don’t have a tonne of money but when I can afford it I treat myself to a cut and treatment to lift my spirits. Regardless of how good my cut was, I didn’t walk out of this salon feeling like a million bucks. Rather I felt like a small child who’d been to a mean dentist :(”
