I am a qualified Remedial Massage Therapist specialising in Remedial, Relaxation, and Sports Massage.

As a former Australian athletics 100m sprinter who has competed at international level with great success, I understand what it takes to keep muscles in top condition.

With a passion for helping people get the most out of their body, and with direct experience in a variety of sports, I can provide you with a massage to suit your individual needs.

I have a Diploma of Remedial Therapy (including Certificate IV in Massage) through Q Academy and am a member of AAMT (Australian Association of Massage Therapy).

So what is a Sports Massage?

Sports massage uses a combination of deep and light strokes using elbows, knuckles and fingers to loosen muscle adhesions and release trigger points (knots) in dysfunctional muscle tissue.  From a tennis elbow or corked thigh to a twisted ankle or shin splints, sports massage provides relief from discomfort and aids rehabilitation and recovery.

Remedial Massage is a treatment modality that manipulates the soft tissues of the body including movement for a specific therapeutic effect, rather than a general therapeutic effect. It uses relevant techniques, lubricants and movements according to the client’s needs and response. This leads to the healing process, which begins at the cellular level aiding soft tissues in repairing, restoring functional integrity and adapting back to health.

Cost:  Consultation $80 for 60mins.

If all you have is 30 minutes, then we can offer you a half body relaxation massage to soothe and restore you, or a targeted sports massage to ease your aches and pains.

So what is a relaxation massage?

Our relaxation massage will leave you with a profound feeling of wellbeing. After a relaxation massage, you may feel sleepy and light headed.

We suggest you drink plenty of water after your treatment and refrain from doing anything too energetic directly following the treatment.

Regular massage promotes deeper and more restful sleep at night and produces greater energy during the day.

There are also benefits for circulation and improvements in the efficiency of the lymphatic system, which helps rid the body of toxins and dissolve general sluggishness.
