Ilona Sophie began her career thirteen years ago, training as a beauty therapist and makeup artist. While later working for several international beauty companies, she became fascinated with eyebrows, and the important role they play in respect to facial symmetry.

After working alongside some of the most renowned eyebrow experts, Ilona developed her own specific technique behind the science of shaping beautiful brows. Her unique approach has been hailed in nationwide publications including Body & Soul and the Sun Herald.

A highly regarded expert in her field, Ilona has dedicated her career to the art of eyebrow shaping. Her talents have attracted a loyal following of clients to her private inner city boutique, where she provides a unique brow-shaping experience based on a personalised approach to suit each individual.

Ilona’s boutique brow studio is tucked away inside the heritage listed St James Trust building, located between Park and Market Streets in the Sydney CBD. Entry can also be made through 185 Elizabeth Street, opposite Hyde Park.

Women $60.00

Beautiful eyebrows make you look more naturally radiant, because they bring harmony to your face. When creating beautiful brows, there are three fundamental elements we take into consideration; balance and symmetry, shape and proportion, and colour and maintenance.

Your initial visit begins with a detailed consultation to determine your face shape, brow strength and individual features. Your eyebrows are then shaped according to your facial symmetry by establishing three precise points; where they should start, arch and end.

We use a combination of waxing and tweezing to create the most flattering eyebrow shape for your face. This service includes tinting your brows lighter or darker to compliment your skin tone and hair colour, followed by complimentary brow makeup to enhance the new shape.

We also show you how to maintain your brows and keep them looking amazing every day. Additionally, we dedicate a thirty minute appointment to each client, so you get everything you need for the best eyebrows you’ve ever had, every time.

Men $50.00

Eyebrow services are not just for women, with more men being introduced to professional eyebrow grooming. We provide a unique service to enhance the natural shape of male brows, while helping you to look more groomed and refreshed.

We use a tweeze-only technique to neaten the brow line and remove excess bulk. This takes the heaviness out of the brows and opens up the eyes, creating a more youthful appearance. The result is tidy, masculine eyebrows that appear natural and untouched.

Eyelash Tinting  $20.00

Create a dramatic look with deep, dark lashes that emphasize your eyes and compliment your brows. We apply a semi-permanent dye to your lashes using a superior product and advanced technique, ensuring lasting results. Includes a complimentary head massage.

Facial Waxing $10.00

Unwanted facial hair can be easily removed for your convenience. We use premium quality hot wax suitable for sensitive skins, so it’s gentle on your face. Areas for hair removal include upper lip and chin, and includes touch-up makeup to reduce any signs of redness.

Brow Lightening  $50.00

Depending on your skin tone and the colour of your hair, eyebrows that are a shade or two lighter are often more flattering. We use carefully selected tints to take the edge off your brows, and create a softer, more youthful appearance. Complimentary with our signature eyebrow service.
