That message was the dream behind the establishment of im’s first boutiques in Australia in 1984. Today the vision remains with only the finest luxury French and Italian designer lingerie, sleepwear, swimwear and accessories showcased. im boutiques are the only chain of their kind in Australia and are located in Sydney, Melbourne and the Gold Coast im presently houses 26 labels each catering to the needs of an ever evolving clientele with La Perla, Aubade, Nina Ricci, Lise Charmel to name a few.
The corsetry housed at im predominantly feature laces that are made on 19th century looms and still hand-cut with most garments hand-finished and for the majority of bras 20 different assembly processes chained with the more complicated, 30 minutes of sewing time. There’s no mass production and quasi-artisanal methods of construction reflects the continuation of European tradition.
Women’s sizes range from 8-22 with cup fittings from A-G and with the men’s underwear collection from La Perla instore men can also indulge. Experienced Sales Consultants are on hand to give obligation-free fittings through to advice on the perfect gift to give. While we do everything we can to ensure your order is processed in a timely manner, during the Christmas to New Year period there may be a slight delay in dispatching your order due to public holidays and the like. We cannot be held liable for any loss or damage incurred by any person as a result of a delay by our carrier that we have no control over or by any event which is out of our reasonable control or foresight including but not limited to any delay caused by an incorrect address provided to us or the recipient delivery address varying to the person ordering.

Deliveries outside Australia are sent via the following methods:
Fedex International Courier Economy Service (International courier service with transit tracking facility) AUD$70.
Australia Post’s Regular Airmail (Australia Post’s economical and reliable airmail delivery) AUD$30.

Taxes, Duties and Customs Fees
All items delivered within Australia are applicable to the Good and Services Tax (GST). All items delivered outside Australia the GST is not applicable. The GST will automatically be deducted at the last stage of processing payment. Once an order is despatched it is the responsibility of the client to supply any documentation required by the relevant authorities in their country to release and deliver the goods. It is also the responsibility of the client to accept any further charges such as duties, taxes, customs clearance fees and the like if imposed by their country. im cannot be held responsible for any costs or requests from governmental bodies, freight companies or the like.
Exchanges & Returns
Please notify us immediately here if there is a problem with a purchase. We do not give refunds for incorrect choice. We do however exchange for incorrect sizing on full priced merchandise.
You may return items once authorized in writing from im lingerie online and you will be given a return delivery address. Standard delivery terms stipulate that when returning your full priced items to us we ask that the goods be returned to us NO LATER than 14 days from the date of shipping. If returning items via mail we advise that goods be returned registered or insured to guarantee their return to us. We cannot be held responsible if for some reason the items are not safely delivered to us. Any duties, customs clearance fees, taxes applicable to items being returned are the responsibility of the client.
In case of exchange, the goods must be returned in original sale condition complete with swing tags and proof of purchase. Good may be exchanged by arrangement with im lingerie. Hosiery that has been opened may not be returned for exchange as a result of change of mind. The cost of returning goods to the client is at the client’s expense and any duties, custom clearance fees, taxes are the responsibility of the client. Shipping costs are not refundable.
Please choose carefully as we do not exchange or accept returns on sale items unless the goods are faulty.
Should you not find anything suitable for your exchange we will gladly offer you a Credit Note that is valid for 3 months from the date of issue enabling you to select something at a later date at a time convenient to you.
Faulty Goods
We stand behind the products we sell as each garment purchased is an investment in quality and our im name. Each collection is subjected to months of evaluation and development before a needle touches the fabric. Before arriving in Australia every single piece undergoes strict quality control procedures and again in Australia. If for some reason you are dissatisfied with your garment and believe it is ‘faulty’ we will gladly assess the problem.
Garments may even be forwarded to the importer or manufacturer for assessment to determine the level of the fault and action to be taken. We advise that goods be returned registered or insured to guarantee their return to us. We cannot be held responsible if for some reason the items are not safely delivered to us. You may be required to show im proof of purchase to validate the claim.
