All traditional medicine healing systems, such as traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and Western natural therapies (WNT) such as naturopathy, herbal medicine and homeopathy, acknowledge that we all have our own innate ability to heal ourselves and live at our optimal potential given the ‘right environment’.

Each traditional medicine healing system advocates their own unique assessment methods, (such as using the pulse and tongue in TCM and iridology in WNT), and offer different treatment approaches, (such as Chinese herbs and acupuncture in TCM and western herbs and nutritional supplementation in WNT), however, their aims are essentially the same; to provide you with the ‘right environment’ that supports your innate wisdom in overcoming disease states and encouraging wellness and personal development so that you can live life at your full potential.

This is the exact same question the founder of In Focus asked when he first started to study in the field of natural medicine. In his quest to find ‘the answer’ to this question, George dedicated himself to studying a variety of traditional medicines which included completing his bachelor degree in traditional Chinese medicine at RMIT University (Melbourne, Australia) and completing an internship at Nanjing University of TCM (Nanjing, China) and bachelor degree in Naturopathy at the Southern School of Natural Therapies (Melbourne, Australia).
