OUR STORY
Established in 2002 by twin brothers Brian and Vincent Wu, Incu evolved as many great things do — from a set of simple but steadfast ideas.
Inspired by their love of travel, international designers and emerging Australian brands the brothers set about fusing these into a retail concept that would be at once innovative, personable and unique.
Over 14 years later Incu has flourished into a multifaceted fashion and lifestyle business operating across retail, wholesale, production and logistics. Supported by a diverse and united community of customers, staff and brand partners, Incu works with a cohesive end-to-end business model unique to the Australian market.
Today Incu owns and operates twelve retail stores located across Sydney, Melbourne and the Gold Coast as well as a successful online business servicing customers worldwide.
In 2014 Incu announced a retail partnership with French designer label A.P.C. and shortly after launched the brands first Australian store in Melbourne. The following year saw the highly anticipated opening of a second A.P.C. store in Sydney’s Surry Hills precinct.
In 2015 Incu also built on its existing wholesale relationship with New York based label Saturday’s NYC to open the brands first Australian store in Bondi Beach.
The Incu studio designs and produces two popular Australian labels; Weathered and Vanishing Elephant. Both brands continue to grow steadily and are stocked in premium boutiques and department stores throughout Australia and New Zealand.
Now a firm fixture in the Australian retail landscape, Incu has established itself as an innovative and connected industry leader while still maintaining the down-to-earth, inclusive culture the business was built upon.
Reviews
“Excellent selection and service. Top notch. ”
“Nice place to buy. Customer service great. the staff very lovely”
“By far the worst customer service. Entered the store and the sales attendants were too cool for school to greet customers, instead continued to talk amongst themselves. I even asked for service and they continued to talk. Product is mediocre and I don’t understand the fuss is all about. Bemused by Incu alltogether!”
“Really good clothing, but at a price.
I swear I’ve seen similar styled clothing from the Japanese brand GU in Japan at a much cheaper price, and their quality of clothes is guaranteed for wear and tear.”
“Great shop”
