Joseph the head piercer, and his dedication to only getting the best, not only from his staff but also getting the very best jewellery.

With an eye for detail, and a desire for everything to be exact, Joseph has made a solid and expanding group of customers. Joseph is supported by his three resident piercing staff, Maichi Vongsaphay, Steven and Becks.

The Boss

With 12 years of professional piercing under his belt, Joseph is the veteran of the group.

His passion for his work is inspired by his fascination and in depth interest of body modification and tattoo’s.

Ultimately this is what led to Joe becoming a body piercer.

The other half that completes the dynamic husband and wife-piercing duo! Trained by Joe himself, Maichi’s love of piercings has led her to having an incredible eye for detail.

Specialising in all things aesthetic and beautiful, along with her gentle touch has seen Maichi become a huge hit with female clientele.

She is also sought after for female intimate and personal piercings.

Maichi loves nothing more than updating and modifying customers’ ear projects to spectacular pieces of art.

Also entering as a keen and regular customer, Joseph and Maichi recognized her love & addiction to piercings and also saw potential.

This loveable dork has a passion for all things piercing related. Her love for piercings is what led to her acquiring a collection of her own.

SKULL APPRECIATION

Skull placements within the Industrie8 studio are an embodiment of our views and values. To us, it represents strength, protection, fearlessness and good luck.
The symbolism of the skulls brings good vibes and reminds us to be ruthless and relentless in all aspects of life. It reminds us that there are no boundaries to achieving our goals.

The custom design tattoo found on Joseph’s forearm, is used to represent skills he possesses and is currently the Industrie8 logo. It is mirrored on the design of the skull, which you will be visually greeted with upon entering the studio. All of which were inspired by Thai and Tibetan styles.

Each skull has been hand crafted with Swarovski Crystals as a tribute to the amount of precision and detail we put into our piercing.

Our present society predominantly associates skulls with death and evil. However, to some ancient societies and cultures it is believed to have the opposite association, representing life: the honoring of humanity in the flesh and the embodiment of consciousness as well as transformation and great change.

The piercer was professional, easygoing and passionate and had so many amazing ideas for my piercings. He made my ears match and look amazing. Also got some good advices for future piercings. Super happy with everything!!!”

“Recently had a piercing done here. The staff were lovely and seemed very knowledgeable about what they were doing piercing wise. The lady checked the positioning with a marker, wiped with with an alcohol wipe all the usual prep etc then showed me the sterile needle. After that I never witnessed the piercer opening any packets for the jewellery so I cannot verify whether it was sterile or not. The ball on the front of the piercing is definitely not sterile as it comes from a communal box that you get to pick what ball you want. Upon paying at the front counter the lady asked If i needed after care and before I could even answer another employee cut in and says yes she does she needs both types of sprays before I even had a chance to say that I’m a nurse and I have access to necessary cleaning solutions myself. Overall I’m happy with my piercing and all is going well, I think they just need to pick up their hygiene standards or make it more obvious to customers their hygiene standards which as a nurse this was my main priority.
Would I go back here? Yes I plan on it – However this time I am going to state I want everything opened in front of me”
