Megan has extensive experience as a specialist in self managed super funds.  Prior to establishing Insight Super Pty Ltd, Megan was the superannuation partner with a leading mid-tier accounting practice.   Megan provides specialist superannuation advice and planning, SMSF compliance and audit, assistance to rectify breaches, pension structuring and assisting clients to minimise tax on retirement benefits.

Melissa Milfull

Melissa joined Insight Super in 2015, after working for over 13 years in a variety of mid-tier city practices and local Ipswich firms in both business services, taxation and financial planning areas.

Melissa has extensive experience in business services, tax compliance and taxation advice dealing with a range of clients from individuals through to complex large entity groups in a variety of industries.

Melissa has a passion for superannuation, is a specialist in the self-managed superannuation fund area and has built on her exposure to the financial planning industry to assist clients in superannuation planning and specialist advise.  Melissa can assist in the setup and compliance of your self-managed superannuation fund and assist with areas including the taxation implications of retirement planning, superannuation planning and pension structuring.

Services

Insight Super are your specialists in superannuation administration and strategy.  We focus on empowering trustees with knowledge and take the time to explain how your super fund works. We have a flexible approach so you can decide which SMSF services you would like us to provide. All services are provided in house so you can get the information you need when you need it.

Setting Up A SMSF

We prepare all necessary documentation to assist in setting up the SMSF including: trust deeds, minutes and resolutions, member applications, trustee consents, investment strategy and business registrations (ABN, TFN, Complying Fund Registration, GST and PAYG Registration if applicable).

Our SMSF set up cost includes a 60 minute meeting to ensure you understand your responsibilities as a trustee.

Full Annual Administration Services

We provide a seamless end of year administration service.  All trustees are provided with an easy to use checklist to assist them to collate all the documents required to prepare their year end accounts, tax return and audit.  Our end of year administration service includes the following:

• Transaction processing and preparation of operating statement, statement of financial position, notes to the accounts and members statements.  We use BGL Simplefund Software.
• Preparation and lodgement of fund income tax and regulatory return
• Preparation of annual minutes and statutory documents
• Minimum and maximum pension calculations and advice for the upcoming year.
• Annual audit performed by our auditor – Acano Accountants + Advisors.
• We have the systems, processes and staff in place to ensure your work is completed at the highest quality and in a timely manner.  Generally all annual administration work is completed within 4 to 8 weeks of arrival in our office.
• We are very proud of the systems we have in place and the quality of our files.  We invite you to meet with us and take a tour of one of our working papers files.

If you would like Insight Super to attend to the administration of your fund but would prefer your own accountant to complete the audit, that is no problem. Please contact us to discuss your requirements.

Advice and Strategy When You Need It
