Insygnia is a boutique salon in the heart of Kingston offering the latest trends in cutting, styling and colour.

Our staff are highly trained and receive regular and ongoing education and professional development to be able to deliver the best quality service to our clients.

We have a “Man Cave” dedicated to our male clientele where they can be pampered in a relaxing environment and enjoy a complimentary beer. We also have a complete range of American Crew styling and shaving products.

Mel Polley  
SENIOR STYLIST

Mel has over 20 years experience with 10 of those at Insygnia.

She is an award winning stylist having entered and won many hairdressing competitions. Mel has also had the amazing opportunity to work on Bridal Fashion Week in Sydney.

Mel loves every aspect of her career.

Kirstin Thorp 
SENIOR STYLIST

Kirstin joined the Insygnia team in 2013 and has 15 years experience in the industry.

Kristin is professional and highly experienced, particularly with blondes and loves every facet of colouring.

Abbie Rossendell  
STYLIST

Abbie has been hairdressing for 15 years and has a passion for meeting new people and hearing their stories.

Karla Ihlow

Karla is our newest team member and has been hairdressing for nearly 13 years.

She loves seeing the finished product after a colour and cut and looks forward to building up her clientele.

Dana-Maree Sullivan

Dana’s passion is colour! She loves to experiment and go outside the box to achieve exciting new looks for her clients.

She enjoys all her clients and helping them to reach their hair goals.

Dana has been hairdressing for 10 years and still loves it.

Carly also loves doing formal hair for weddings and special occasions which she finds so rewarding.

CANCELLATION POLICY

We require a minimum 24 hours notice for cancelling or re-scheduling an appointment at this salon to enable us to offer the appointment to other clients. A cancellation fee of 50% will apply if you cancel within less than 24 hours notice, this will also apply if you are a “no show”.

Saturdays’ require a minimum 36 hours notice for cancellations.

Clients who have cancelled or been a “no show” 2 or more times will be required to pay a 50% deposit in advance to secure their appointment.

We would ask that you arrive prior to your scheduled appointment time to ensure the smooth running of our appointments and so as not to affect our other clients. If you are unavoidably running late please call us to see whether we can keep your appointment or we may need to reschedule, usually we are unable to keep your appointment after 15 minutes.
