J-Street Barbers has a warm atmosphere with a mix of classic & retro décor to make you comfortable yet with nostalgic pangs of classical style.

No washbasins, no nail salons out the back, and no fuss, just great professional cuts every time. Best of all, just stroll in as no appointments are necessary.

We have a unique range of magazines to browse through while you wait. No “Woman’s Day” on these shelves, just a mix of art & culture done with a masculine twist.

J-Street Barbers fills a void between the high-end hair salon and the old-man barber shops that are in every suburb here on the Gold Coast.

We use scissors, clippers & blades depending on your hair and the desired effect.
With a professionally trained stylist you can relax.

All products used are from the “UPPERCUT” and “MUK” range and can also be bought over the counter.

Michelle Rijkaart has a wealth of experience.

Michelle has over 20 years experience in hair and has trained and worked as a professional stylist before choosing to continue her career as a barber.

She has worked in 3 countries and excels at what she does which is proven in the number of returning clients.

MEHDI BELLATRECHE

Mehdi, originally from the island of Corse in France.

Mehdi has owned and run his own hair salon in France and his professionalism shows through while still maintaining a happy friendly disposition.

Already with a following at J-Street barbers with the regular clients, you may also find Mehdi on the turntables in the shop cranking out some amazing mixes.
