Long established Jts first opened its doors in Belmont, Western Australia in 1966, Fronted by Terry Harris, starting with a “Barber Shop” called Terry’s Hairstylists. Terry re-located the barber shop into Belmont Forum Shopping Centre and with the growth of his salon he expanded his services to cater for all aspects of men’s and ladies hairdressing. Terry and his wife Marjorie had two children, Clint and Chad, both men completed their hairdressing apprenticeships with Jts hairstylists and later became business partners, joining in on the Jts journey. The success of this well-known, family owned business has continued to grow into 10 Jts salons making the brand easily recognizable and considered as one of the best hairdressers in Perth, Western Australia.

“I just had my haircut by Kate at the Morley store and I am so happy! All the girls were so lovely, very professional and helpful. “My son was very disappointed with his cut yesterday but was too polite to say so. After we left the salon he put on his hat and refused to take it off.
It appeared that his stylist was a trainee but this was not explained to him and she immediately alarmed him by cutting off a large part of his fringe which was against his desired cut.
When I arrived to collect him I said to the supervisor that the cut was too “square” in the way it was cut, the angles were obvious and blunt. I was told that was the best they could do.
My son and I are very unhappy with the service provided at Clarkson salon.”

“At the Carousel store, they washed my hair without a cape, water dripping all over my clothes.. Once I realized that they’re definitely not going to take initiative & put a cape on me, I finally asked for one. The hairdresser did my dark roots & washed it out. When I got home, dried & straightened my hair, I then saw my blonde (ombré) had been ruined. She’s washed the dark color off from my roots & through my blonde which caused it to dull & change color. There was also a patch of dark hair on my blonde too. She had dropped dark hair die on my blonde while she was doing my roots. I tried washing it out myself but my blonde was still ruined & the blotch was still there. I went back to them to tell them, the girl at the counter could see what I was talking about & agreed that it wasn’t right. She called the hairdresser that did my hair who replied: it’s not that noticeable & its impossible not to ruin your blonde when doing your roots unless you want me to have 6 girls lifting your hair up so the dark color doesn’t wash through your ends. We’ll fix it next time you come. No apology no nothing & with an attitude on her. I thanked them & walked out. All it takes is a little customer service & I might’ve considered going back”
